This is a key role in the leadership and development of the Systems Project team. Reporting to the Systems Manager, some key functions of the role include:

• Develop concepts project plans in conjunction with the Systems Manager;
• Day-to-day leadership of the Systems Project team ensuring efficient and effective delivery of projects are carried out;
• Continuously monitor and maintain the effectiveness of our systems while focusing on continuous improvement;
• Develop system architecture and design in conjunction with the Systems Manager;
• Act as an individual contributor on projects, performing hands on work as required;
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as rostered.

With proven leadership and project management skills, you will possess strong experience in a Solaris/Unix or Windows environment. At least five years system administration experience will be required as will professional oral and written communication skills. Extensive fault diagnosis skills are essential.
