Here's what you need to know about bundling your telephone service with Internode ADSL. It's an easy way to save money!

Overview

Bundling is available on:

It represents a convenient method for you to save money on your phone and broadband services; and enjoy the convenience of dealing with a single supplier.

  • Please note that the Easy Bundle plans are a fixed bundle of broadband and a landline phone service. The bundling commitment and benefit is inherent in Easy Bundle.

Do I Have To Bundle?

No, you don't. It is entirely optional, except on the Easy Bundle plans (and previous UltraBundle plans).

If you prefer, you can use another phone provider, and this means that you will receive your ADSL service at the 'standalone' monthly price. Of course, you will still need to maintain an active telephone service to deliver the ADSL service.

  • Also note that bundling is not retrospective - the saving that results from bundling your ADSL with NodeLine only applies to our more recent ADSL plans.

Why Would I Bundle?

There's three reasons you may want to bundle your ADSL service with NodeLine:

  • Your ADSL service (if eligible) will be billed to you at the 'bundled' price. The bundling discount on current plans is $20 per month!
  • NodeLine is a great value telephone service, and - depending on your specific calling patterns - could be saving you money on call charges.
  • You can enjoy the convenience of dealing with one supplier for both your landline phone and your ADSL broadband.

Who Is Eligible for Bundling?

All Internode customers - residential, business or corporate - are eligible for bundling. You simply need to meet two criteria:

  • Have an Internode Easy Broadband ADSL service on an eligible plan; or
  • have an Internode Easy Reach ADSL service on an eligible plan; and
  • that ADSL service is delivered over a NodeLine telephone service.

That's all there is to it! No minimum spend requirements, or different contract terms, or anything tricky. As long as you're on an eligible ADSL plan delivered via a NodeLine service, your ADSL is billed at the lower 'bundled' rate. All current Easy Broadband and Easy Reach plans are eligible for the broadband bundling discount.

Bundling discounts are also available for all current South Brisbane FAB and Reach FAB broadband plans. In this case if the phone service on the same Optical Network Termination unit is a NodeLine, then the bundling discount applies.

What About Other ADSL Plans?

The bundling option is only being offered on selected new plans, so that customers can make an informed decision when signing up or changing plans.

Hence, bundling is currently available on:

  • all Easy Broadband plans released since 28th April 2010; and
  • all Easy Reach plans released since 17th November 2010; and
  • all Extreme ADSL2+ plans released since 30th March 2010 (this plan family is now grandfathered); and
  • all ADSL Standard and ADSL Fast plans released since 8th December 2009, excluding Home-512-Starter (note : these plan families are also now grandfathered).

Of course, it doesn't make any sense to bundle a landline with a Naked ADSL service! Hence the bundling option isn't available on Internode Easy Naked plans.

And the bundling benefits and commitment are inherent in all Internode Easy Bundle services.

How Does Bundling Work?

It's pretty simple. At the end of each billing cycle, we check to see if you have an eligible ADSL plan. If you do, we check if the phone number that is used to deliver that ADSL plan is also the phone number of a NodeLine service.

If it is, then your ADSL is charged at the 'bundled' rate for that month. If it isn't, then your ADSL is charged at the 'standalone' rate.

So you don't have to inform us or fill in any forms - it's all automatic.

How Do I Bundle?

Taking advantage of Internode bundling is easy:

If you already have an Internode ADSL service, simply request a plan change to one of the current Easy Broadband or Easy Reach plans.

Then churn across to NodeLine and enjoy the convenience and benefits of combining Internode ADSL and phone services.

  • Of course if you don't currently have an Internode ADSL service, then now would be the time to sign up online for one of the eligible broadband plans - and churn your phone line at the same time!

How Will I Know If I'm Receiving the Bundling Discount?

Simply check your bill from Internode - it'll be obvious - the price you pay will match up with the 'bundled' price on our website.

And if you have any issues, our billing team will be happy to help you out.
