Billing
Internode recommend a monthly billing arrangement, as any requested
changes to your account (eg speed or data change) is actioned by our
system at the start of the next billing period. Therefore paying on a
monthly basis - Credit Card or Direct Debit - means you are able to
make changes to your service on a monthly basis, whereas if you are
being invoiced quarterly, any changes will occur at the start of the
next quarter.
- Credit Card surcharge : Payments via Visa, Mastercard or Bankcard
incur a $0.99 surcharge per transaction; and payments via American
Express or Diners Club incur a surcharge of 2.5% of the transaction
value.
- There are no surcharges for Direct Debit payments (these can be monthly or quarterly).
- Similarly, there are no surcharges for any of the quarterly
payments options - BPay, Direct Credit, Cheque, Money Order, Cash or
EFTPOS.
- Please note that the first monthly or quarterly service charge,
plus activation fee and any hardware charges, must be paid in full
before Internode allow access to your service.
Full details on our payment options are available here.
Notification
Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning
messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the
configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for
details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward
these emails to a preferred email account if required via our online
Email Management system.
Posting of paper invoices is
available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested
will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice.
The maximum possible speed of an Extreme® ADSL2+ service will depend on
a number of factors. These include the length and quality of the phone line that links your premises to your local telephone exchange, and the
type of ADSL modem or router that you are using.
A description of these factors is available on this page,
as well as a graph that provides an indication of theoretical maximum
speed at various line lengths.
The ADSL modem or router that you use on a Business Extreme® ADSL2+ service will affect the maximum possible speed as follows:
- ADSL2+ Annex M Modem/Router - 24000/2500 kbps
- ADSL2+ Annex A Modem/Router - 24000/1000 kbps
- ADSL2 Modem/Router - 12000/1000 kbps
- ADSL1 Modem/Router - 8000/1000 kbps (many older ADSL modems and routers are ADSL1 only)
All routers sold by Internode are ADSL2+ Annex M capable - further details are available here.
The minimum speed of an Extreme® ADSL2+ service is 1500/256 kbps. Internode does not guarantee that customers who select the Business Extreme®
ADSL2+ plans will be able to obtain the maximum theoretical speed of 24000/2500 kbps.
