There's two choices of Business NodeMobile Data plans:

• The $19.95 'Explorer-Static' plan includes 500 Mbytes per month, features a static IP address, and suits ad-hoc usage. Typically you would retain your business broadband connection, but use this one occasionally - when you're away from your home or office broadband, and want to be connected.
• The $44.95 'Value' plan includes 5 Gbytes per month and also features a static IP address. Potentially this could be used as an alternative to conventional ADSL - especially if you only have light Internet requirements, or are in a 'broadband blackspot'.

Limitations

• Static IP addresses only - lower cost services offering dynamic IP addressing are available here.
• Conditions may change - If service conditions are changed in the future, customers will be permitted to cease using the service without penalty if the new conditions are not accepted.
• Definitions (in accordance with Australian ISP conventions):
  • 1 MB or 1 Mbyte is 1 Megabyte = 1,000,000 bytes.
  • 1 GB or 1 Gbyte is 1 Gigabyte - 1 Gigabyte is equal to 1,000 Megabytes.

NodeMobile Data Account Application Notes

When you apply for NodeMobile Data, you should be aware of certain obligations and conditions once the order form is received by Internode.

Please be aware that when you sign the application form you are signing to say that you accept and agree to be bound by the Internode Standard Form of Agreement and the NodeMobile Service Schedule - these documents are available here. Please call us if you would like any help interpreting these documents.

The NodeMobile Data Contract

When you signup for NodeMobile Data, you can either:

• purchase a 3G USB modem with a NodeMobile USIM - or just purchase a NodeMobile USIM - outright, and have a rolling one month contract with no early cancellation charges; or
• receive a discounted or free 3G USB modem with NodeMobile USIM, with an early cancellation charge of $99 if you cancel within the first 24 months.

Please note that Internode continually enhance our products over time. For clarity:

• If you purchased a NodeMobile Data service on a 24 month contract prior to 01/09/09, the early cancellation charge is $199.
• For services purchased on a 24 month contract between 01/09/09 and 27/09/09, an early cancellation charge of $149 is applicable.
• All new services on a 24 month contract - ie ordered from 28/09/09 - have an early cancellation charge of only $99.

Billing & Notifications

Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward these emails to a preferred email account if required, via our online Email Management system.

As per the Internode Standard Form of Agreement, payment is required in advance. You will be required to pay the setup fee and any equipment costs (if applicable) and the first monthly fee upon provisioning of your service. Billing will begin within 7 days of the service being provisioned by our carrier, or earlier if you have registered a successful login.

Posting of paper invoices is available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice. Surcharges also apply to payments made by credit card - full details on this and our other payment options are available here.

The theoretical maximum speed of a NodeMobile Data service is 7.2 Mbps; however a more realistic expectation is average download speeds of between 512 kbps and 1.5 Mbps. The speed that you obtain will vary depending on a number of factors, and is not guaranteed by Internode.

Coverage of the NodeMobile Data service is over 96% of the Australian population, and this is continually expanding via the Optus yesG network roll-out. A coverage checker tool is available here.

International roaming is not offered with NodeMobile Data services.
