Service options and charges
Charged when a new Internode SOHO ADSL Plus service is established, on a telephone line that currently does not have an ADSL service.
The Fast Transfer charge applies if you can take advantage of the Telstra Wholesale Fast Transfer process, to churn from an existing ADSL service with another provider, to an Internode SOHO ADSL Plus service.
If you change location - even if you retain the same phone number -
this charge applies to relocate to an Internode ADSL Standard, ADSL Plus or Extreme® ADSL2+ service at your new premises.
This is charged if you cancel your Internode ADSL service prior to 12 months of use.
Note it is waived on an existing service if you are relocating with Internode ADSL at your new premises; or if you are changing service type to Internode Naked ADSL2+.
Charged if you wish to change your Internode SOHO ADSL Standard or ADSL Plus speed - for example from 512/128 kbps to 1500/256 kbps; or changing between SOHO ADSL Standard and SOHO ADSL Plus. Please note that any changes requested will take effect at start of next billing period.
This charge is waived for all SOHO ADSL Standard speed upgrades - and upgrades from SOHO ADSL Standard to SOHO ADSL Plus - until 30/06/2008!
There is no charge for changing your monthly download quota within the same speed - for example from Standard to Boost; or from a 25 Gbyte plan to a 40 Gbyte plan.
Also please note that any changes requested will take effect at start of next billing period - you can use Data Blocks if you need an instant quota upgrade.
GST
All quoted pricing includes GST.

Please be aware that when you sign the application form you are
signing to say that you acknowledge and accept the Internode Standard
Form of Agreement and ADSL Service Specification documents - these documents are available here. Please call us if you would like any help interpreting these documents.
The ADSL Early Cancellation Charge
Internode ADSL Plus services are normally provisioned within 7-10 business days,
and activated by Internode no later that 7 days thereafter, at which time
Internode will commence billing.
Customers wishing to terminate their ADSL service with Internode
prior to the end of the first twelve months from activation date are
liable to pay an early cancellation charge of $65.
Automatic ADSL Service Cancellations
Please be aware that your Internode ADSL Plus service will be
automatically cancelled by Telstra and a new ADSL service will need to
be ordered by you (including a new $129 Activation fee) in the
following circumstances:
- If your telephone account is cancelled.
- If you order an ADSL-incompatible product on the telephone line the ADSL is delivered on.
We strongly advise that you contact our Sales department to discuss
any pending changes to your phone service prior to making those changes.
If you plan to move premises - even if you are taking the same number with you -
you'll need to use our online relocation process. This ensures a smooth transition and reduced
establishment charge of $99.
Billing
Internode recommend a monthly billing arrangement, as any requested
changes to your account (eg speed or data change) is actioned by our
system at the start of the next billing period. Therefore paying on a
monthly basis - Credit Card or Direct Debit - means you are able to
make changes to your service on a monthly basis, whereas if you are
being invoiced quarterly, any changes will occur at the start of the
next quarter.
- Credit Card surcharge : Payments via Visa, Mastercard or Bankcard
incur a $0.99 surcharge per transaction; and payments via American
Express or Diners Club incur a surcharge of 2.5% of the transaction
value.
- There are no surcharges for Direct Debit payments (these can be monthly or quarterly).
- Similarly, there are no surcharges for any of the quarterly
payments options - BPay, Direct Credit, Cheque, Money Order, Cash or
EFTPOS.
- Please note that the first monthly or quarterly service charge,
plus activation fee and any hardware charges, must be paid in full
before Internode allow access to your service.
Full details on our payment options are available here.
Notification
Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning
messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the
configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for
details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward
these emails to a preferred email account if required via our online
Email Management system.
Posting of paper invoices is
available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested
will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice.
