Service options and charges
Options for establishing your new Internode ADSL Standard service include :
- Fast Transfer (Churn) for $39 : Take advantage of this simple and rapid process, to churn a suitable existing ADSL service with another provider, to an Internode ADSL Standard service.
- Establish a new ADSL Standard service for $129 : This option applies when you currently do not have ADSL on your telephone line.
Please refer to the 'Transfer' page under ADSL Standard for more information on these options; or call us 13 6633 for assistance.
If you already have Internode ADSL and change location - even if you retain the same phone number -
this charge applies to relocate to an Internode ADSL Standard, ADSL Plus or Extreme® ADSL2+ service at your new premises.
This is charged if you cancel your Internode ADSL service prior to 12 months of use.
Note it is waived on an existing service if you are relocating with Internode ADSL at your new premises; or if you are changing to a new Internode broadband service type.
This applies if you wish to change the speed of your Internode ADSL Standard service - for example from 512/128 kbps to 1500/256 kbps - or change between ADSL Standard and ADSL Plus. Please note that any changes requested will take effect at start of next billing period.
This charge is currently waived for all ADSL Standard speed upgrades - including upgrades from ADSL Standard to ADSL Plus!
There is no charge for changing your monthly download quota within the same speed - for example from Explorer to Advance; or from a 25 Gbyte plan to a 40 Gbyte plan.
Also please note that any changes requested will take effect at start of next billing period - you can use Data Blocks if you need an instant quota upgrade.

When you apply for SOHO ADSL Standard, you should be aware of certain obligations and conditions once the order form is received by Internode.
Please be aware that when you sign the application form you are
signing to say that you accept and agree to be bound by the Internode Standard
Form of Agreement and ADSL Service Specifications - these documents are available here. Please call us if you would like any help interpreting these documents.
The ADSL Early Cancellation Charge
Internode ADSL Standard services are normally provisioned within 7-10 business days,
and activated by Internode no later that 7 days thereafter, at which time
Internode will commence billing.
Customers wishing to terminate their ADSL service with Internode
prior to the end of the first twelve months from activation date are
liable to pay an early cancellation charge of $65.
Automatic ADSL Service Cancellations
Please be aware that your Internode ADSL Standard service will be
automatically cancelled by Telstra and a new ADSL service will need to
be ordered by you (including a new $129 Activation fee) in the
following circumstances:
- If your telephone account is cancelled.
- If you order an ADSL-incompatible product on the telephone line the ADSL is delivered on.
We strongly advise that you contact our Sales department to discuss
any pending changes to your phone service prior to making those changes.
If you plan to move premises - even if you are taking the same number with you -
you'll need to use our online relocation process. This ensures a smooth transition and reduced
establishment charge of $99.
Billing & Notifications
Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning
messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the
configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for
details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward
these emails to a preferred email account if required, via our online
Email Management system.
Please note that the first monthly service charge, plus activation fee and hardware charges, must be paid in full before Internode can activate the service.
Posting of paper invoices is
available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested
will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice. Surcharges also apply to payments made by credit card - full details on this and our other payment options are available here.
