Many existing Easy Naked, NakedUltra, Ultra and UltraLine customers have told us that they're keen to move their current connection across to an Internode DSLAM.
This is the process that enables that migration!
This migration process involves disconnecting your service from your current broadband infrastructure (delivered via Optus Wholesale), and reconnecting you to a naked ADSL service delivered via Internode infrastructure (an Internode DSLAM).
It is entirely up to you - you're under no obligation whatsoever to migrate to an Internode DSLAM. If you're perfectly happy with your current service, then please don't make any changes at all!
New and improved value Easy Naked plans have recently been released; and similarly Ultra and UltraLine customers can simply plan change to the new Easy Bundle plans instead.
You are eligible for this migration if you are currently on an Internode Easy Naked, NakedUltra, Ultra or UltraLine service via an Optus DSLAM, and there is an Internode DSLAM with spare capacity in your local exchange.
Please note we will not be able to migrate any services to Internode DSLAMs that are listed as 'Limited or No Ports Available'.
Customers with Internode Ultra or UltraLine bundled telephone + broadband services need to be aware that this migration will permanently remove your current telephone number. Internode DSLAMs do not support traditional (or 'analogue') phone line services.
If this is a concern then please do not proceed with the migration. As mentioned before, great Easy Bundle plans are available for you via the plan changer instead.
The migration will occur between one week and three weeks after your application. You don't need to be in attendance for the migration - it's simply a matter of re-patching your line at the local exchange (from Optus equipment to the Internode DSLAM).
During the patching process, you'll lose Internet connectivity for between one and four hours. It's possible you'll need to reboot your router after the migration, but that's about it.
There's no change to your Internode username, password or email accounts. You shouldn't need to change anything.
There is no charge for the migration to an Internode DSLAM. Furthermore, you will not be charged for early cancellation of your pre-existing service, when migrating to the Internode DSLAM.
However, you must agree to start a new 24 month broadband contract with Internode.
Yes, except in the case where you ae changing to the Easy Naked 150 Special plan. NodePhone2-Special is not available with Easy Naked 150 Special, and hence your NodePhone plan will automatically be changed to NodePhone2-Starter.
Please contact Internode Sales if you have any other questions relating to this migration.
If you have read all of the above and would like to proceed with migrating your service to an Internode DSLAM, please complete the details on this web form.
