Internode has partnered with housing estate telecoms specialist Opticomm, to deliver ultra fast residential and business broadband services, at 'greenfield' developments around Australia.

These services are being delivered using Fibre to the Home technology. FTTH means the fibre optical cables are connected right up to your house - you get direct access to the next generation of broadband technology!

Where?

Internode's first Home Fibre services were lauched in Queensland's Fernbrooke community, a development by Urban Pacific at Redbank Plains, located 32km south-west of the Brisbane CBD. Fernbrooke comprises more than 1000 homes built around 20 hectares of recreational space and parkland.

Other communities that are now enjoying the benefits of Fibre To The Home include:

• Lochiel Park, an ecologically sustainable development adjacent the Linear Park in Adelaide.
• Alamanda, Point Cook's premier lifestyle community in Victoria.

How Much?

Broadband plans start from $49.95 a month (the first month cost will be $148.95, which includes the $99 setup fee) for an entry level Internet service with a five gigabyte (GB) download quota. Home Fibre services are available in a range of speed and monthly download quotas.

Phone services are available from $25 per month (the first month cost will be $74, which includes the $49 setup fee). This delivers incredible call rates, including 18 cent untimed calls to fixed phone lines, Australia-wide.

Further incentives to new home builders may also be available from your developer.

How Fast?

Internode Home Fibre services are delivered over fibre optical cable right up to your house - you connect via an Ethernet network port inside your house. It is quite unlike the "best effort" connection speeds provided by traditional ADSL2+ services.
