The following is required for a successful fetchtv service at your home:
Fetchtv Lite is available to Internode customers with an ADSL2+, Fibre to the Home, or Fixed-Wireless broadband service. Note that services such as NodeMobile Data and Dialup are not suitable.
Fetchtv Full services can be delivered via Internode ADSL2+ or Fibre to the Home broadband services.
Fetchtv Lite can be used with any broadband Internet router that has a spare Ethernet port.
Internode offers a number of certified routers for fetchtv Full. These routers are available from the Internode Online Store, and are delivered with fetchtv configuration built in.
Whilst these are the only Internode certified and fully supported routers for fetchtv, you may use any broadband router that supports IP multicast.
If you intend to use a modem that is not certified, do so only if you are comfortable with configuring and managing your router. Internode will be unable to provide support and configuration assistance for uncertified routers.
Internode have tested some routers with fetchtv, and some sample configuration guides are available in the support section of our website.

To ensure the best fetchtv experience, your Set Top Box must be connected to your broadband router with a cable. There are several ways this can be achieved:
If your fetchtv set top box and broadband router are located near one another, you can connect them with an Ethernet cable. A 2 metre Ethernet cable is included with your fetchtv set top box, but if you need a longer cable, you'll need to purchase one from a local computer store.
To connect your fetchtv set top box to your broadband router, simply plug one end of your Ethernet cable into a spare Ethernet port on the router, and the other end into the Ethernet port on the back of the set top box.
If your fetchtv set top box is not located near your broadband router, you can use "Ethernet over Power" converters to create an Ethernet connection between rooms in your house.
Ethernet over Power adapters use your home's existing power cabling to create an Ethernet connection. Simply plug one Power Line Converter (PLC) into a power outlet near your router and connect it to your router with an Ethernet cable. Plug the other PLC into a power outlet near your fetchtv set top box and connect it with another Ethernet cable.
Do not use Ethernet over Power adapters with power boards or double-adapters: this significantly reduces their functionality. You can purchase a Power Line Converter (PLC) as part of the signup process, or through our Online Store.

If your set top box is in a different room to your broadband router, you can have Ethernet cables professionally installed between the rooms in your house.
These can be run within the walls of your house and connect via sockets on your wall, much in the same manner as power plugs.
A licensed cabler can install Ethernet cables for you. Internode do not directly offer this service.
Your TV or home entertainment system will require a connection to your fetchtv set top box. For best results, we recommend using a HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) cable, however you can also use component or composite video cables.
For your convenience, all three cables are included in the box with your set top box!
The fetchtv set top box requires digital TV reception to access all the available Freeview channels. If you are unsure about your reception coverage you can check your address here.
Note: your antenna needs to be digital TV capable.
