We have developed a special VoIP phone service, called NodePhone-Initial. This NodePhone plan is exclusive to Internode NBN customers, and has no setup fees and no monthly rental!

• This is an advanced phone service including caller ID and a sophisticated voicemail system - featuring the option of voicemail as email - at no additional cost.
• You’ll also enjoy local and long distance fixed line calls at only 18 cents untimed; free calls to other NodePhone services; and excellent value mobile and international calling rates.
• In most areas you can port your existing phone number if you wish (a once-off $29.95 porting fee applies).

VoIP Equipment

You’ll also need VoIP equipment to use NodePhone:

• If you already have a router, we recommend the Gigaset DECT/IP phone system (from $199).
• If you need to buy a router, then the FRITZ!Box home gateway is an all-in-one solution with integrated VoIP and DECT (from $249 purchase, or rent from $9.95 per month).

Alternatively you may wish to keep your current fixed line phone service on the copper network, until our phone service via NBN equipment is available. Stay with your current provider or move your phone across to Internode NodeLine.

And you can just choose an NBN broadband service and not have a landline phone service at all - with Internode, it's entirely your choice!

Internode is also currently conducting extensive customer trials of a 'traditional' landline phone service, via the analogue phone jack on your NBN network termination device. We plan to offer you the choice to use that for your phone calls in the coming months, with access to the same great NodePhone calling rates.
