Many broadband routers provide wireless networking (Wi-Fi) for everyday home networking - allowing you to connect laptops, smartphones, and other devices.
However, some equipment - such as Fetch TV set top boxes, or VoIP telephone adapters - may be unable to use your router's Wi-Fi as it is unsuitable. A solution to this is to use a Wireless Bridge to connect these devices.
In other cases you may need to locate a computer where your router's Wi-Fi signal may not be strong enough due to distance, interference, or thick walls. In these situations, consider either a Wireless Bridge, Powerline Adapters, or professional cabling.
The iiNet Labs Wireless Bridge units offer style with a simple plug-and-play connection. Connect one to your Fetch TV set top box and the other to your broadband router using the supplied Ethernet cables. Power them up and they create a "bridge" between the two devices without expensive rewiring or running Ethernet cables through your home.
The iiNet Labs Wireless Bridge can also wirelessly connect any device with an Ethernet interface: desktop computers, set top boxes, gaming consoles, VoIP adapters, and more. It's as simple as that!

The NetComm NP204 Powerline Adapter is a pair of "plug pack" devices which transmit Ethernet signals over your internal AC power cabling - allowing you to connect remote equipment to your broadband router.
The Adapters come in a pack of two units that plug into normal 240V AC power outlets. Simply connect one to your broadband router using the supplied Ethernet cable, and plug it into a power outlet. Connect the second Powerline Adapter to a power outlet in another room, and connect your chosen device - a desktop computer, set top box, gaming console, or VoIP adapter - to the Powerline Adapter with the second Ethernet cable.
The NetComm NP204 Powerline Adapter has a number of key features, including:

Another solution is to arrange a professional cabler to install Ethernet cabling into your desired locations, which is an excellent long-term solution. However, this may be expensive, and can be inflexible if you decide to relocate your equipment afterwards. Re-cabling a house is also a problem if you are renting!
