Of course, if you don't already have ADSL on your phone line, then simply signup for a new Extreme® ADSL2+ service ($129) with Internode.
If however you do already have an ADSL service on your phone line, then these are the ways to obtain an Extreme® ADSL2+ broadband service from Internode.
Here is a graphical representation of the best methods to transfer to Extreme ADSL2+, further detailed explanations on these processes are provided below the diagram.

This is available if your current ADSL service is provided by an ISP that participates in the SST process. It provides a simple method of transferring to any of the Internode Extreme® ADSL2+ plans.
You can check if your current ISP is a participant in the SST process by referring to the second column (DSL/SSS Transfer) in this list. If they have a tick, then you can request an $88 Single Service Transfer through our standard online signup process.
And if they have a cross, then you can take a two-step approach - firstly, Fast Transfer ('Churn') for $39, as described below, to an Internode ADSL Standard or ADSL Plus plan. When that is complete then then request a Single Service Migration ($49 - refer point 2 below) to an Extreme® ADSL2+ plan.
Please read our Extreme® ADSL2+ FAQ for further information.
This is available if your current ADSL service is with another ISP, and delivered via a Telstra Wholesale or BigPond ADSL port. It provides a low cost ($39) transfer to any of the Internode ADSL Standard plans (256/64 kbps, 512/128 kbps, 512/512 kbps or 1500/256 kbps), or any of the ADSL Plus plans (up to 8000/384 kbps). This can be used as an 'interim step' in the migration to Internode Extreme® ADSL2+.
Most ISPs participate in this Fast Transfer or 'Churn' process - you can check by referring to the first column (DSL Transfer) in this list, or just ask them. If so, you simply need to select your current ISP's name in the list presented during the online signup process. Please read our Churn FAQ if you require any further information.
This is available if your current ADSL service is already with Internode, but not yet connected to an Internode DSLAM - you'll need to perform an SSM to obtain an Internode Extreme® ADSL2+ service.
Check whether you're connected to an Internode DSLAM via our ADSL Status Query tool - enter your line number and username and 'Submit' the form.On the results screen, you will see the last row of the table is called 'Carrier for ADSL Port'.
Note in certain situations SSM may not be available - for example when your current service is provided on a Telstra pair gain system such as a RIM. Please read our Extreme® ADSL2+ FAQ for further information.
The final alternative - if you can stand not having broadband for a couple of weeks - is to cancel your current ADSL service, and order a new Internode Extreme® ADSL2+ service ($129) from scratch!
If you disconnect from your current provider via any method (Fast Transfer, Single Service Transfer, or Disconnection), your existing ISP may charge you contract break fees and/or service disconnection fees in accordance with their contract with you. Internode is not responsible for, and has no control over, those fees. Please check your existing contractual conditions carefully before changing providers.
