Our Naked ADSL2+ plans give you what you want - and let you stop paying for what you don't need! Importantly, you don't need to pay a third party to rent a traditional telephone service in order to receive Internode Naked ADSL2+.

If you still want to make phone calls, you can choose to add in the Internode NodePhone2 VoIP service. This delivers a high quality, feature-rich two way telephone service delivered via your broadband service, for only $10 per month - and for Naked ADSL2+ customers that includes $10 per month of calls.

And like all Internode broadband plans, Internode Naked ADSL2+ services include unlimited uploads (some other Naked ADSL services charge you for both uploads and downloads, which make them very poor value compared to Internode).

So you can save money compared to a conventional ADSL service by avoiding the third party phone line rental charges - your dollar goes much further with Naked ADSL2+ services!

• No Phone Service Required - If all you want is a Broadband Internet service, then this is the product you're after. With Home Naked ADSL2+, there is no requirement to have a traditional telephone service.
• Fixed Monthly Charge - Home Naked ADSL2+ services are fixed price, regardless of your download volumes. If your download quota is exceeded, shaping of traffic is applied at 64 kilobits per second. There is a maximum 'shaped excess' allowance of 3 Gbytes - additional access constraints may be applied beyond this amount.
• No Long Term Contracts - Just a $65 early cancellation charge during the first twelve months.
• Expert Help Desk - Internode provides free, expert and friendly Help Desk support available to you 7 days a week.
• Included Dialup Account - Includes a dialup account, for when you're away from your broadband connection, with 10 included hours per month then $1/hour pay-as-you-go. Dialup access is available Australia-wide at local call rates. Optionally, for an extra $10 per month you can have 300 included hours of dialup per month.
• Global Roaming Facility - We offer a global roaming facility for dialup, WiFi and hotel Ethernet access across the world via iPass (separate usage charges apply).
• Five Free Email Accounts - Up to 5 free email accounts can be established, all with email spam and virus filtering at no additional charge.
• Free Webspace - Free 50 Mbyte webspace is available to all Internode Home Naked ADSL 2+ customers for personal, non-commercial use.
• Unmetered Access - Unmetered content doesn't use up your monthly download quota. This includes our Online Streaming Radio servers; our extensive Online Games network for low ping gaming; our mirror servers for file downloads; and other selected content sources.
• Premium Usenet - Internode broadband customers can access our Premium Usenet service at no additional charge, note these downloads are counted toward your monthly quota.
• Security Protection - Internode protects Home ADSL customers by filtering ports which are generally used to propagate network worms and attacks. You are welcome to disable that protection via an online web page if you wish.
• Dynamic IP Address - These are 'Layer 2' dynamic IP services, suitable for home broadband access. If you need static IP addressing to host servers, we recommend our SOHO and Business ADSL services.
• No Upload Surcharge - All upload direction data is free of charge, and doesn't count against your monthly quota.
• No Peak / Off Peak Limitations - Internode has no Peak or Off-Peak timezones - use the service how and when you want to.
• No Regional Surcharge - We're into equality, so the same prices apply for any area we cover, metro or regional.
• Your Choice of Hardware - Bring your own ADSL router, or buy one pre-configured from us at a competitive rate - click here for details. All routers supplied by Internode are pre-configured with your Internode username, password and settings; and include a quality ADSL filter/splitter and 24 months fast replacement warranty.

Limitations

• No resale of bandwidth - Home Naked ADSL2+ services provide access for personal and immediate family use only.
• No static IP addresses are available - Use our SOHO or Business Naked ADSL2+ services if a static IP address is required.
• Internode services are non-refundable.
• Conditions may change - If service conditions are changed in the future, customers will be permitted to cease using the service without penalty if the new conditions are not accepted.
• Definitions (in accordance with Australian ISP conventions):
  • 1 MB or 1 Mbyte is 1 Megabyte = 1,000,000 bytes.
    
  • 1 GB or 1 Gbyte is 1 Gigabyte - 1 Gigabyte is equal to 1,000 Megabytes.
    

ADSL Account Application Notes

When you apply for ADSL, you should be aware of certain obligations and conditions once the order form is received by Internode.

Please be aware that when you sign the application form you are signing to say that you accept and agree to be bound by the Internode Standard Form of Agreement, ADSL Service Specifications and Naked ADSL2+ Service Schedule documents - these documents are available here. Please call us if you would like any help interpreting these documents.

The ADSL Early Cancellation Charge

Internode Naked ADSL2+ services are normally provisioned within 10 to 30 business days and activated by Internode no later that 7 days thereafter, at which time Internode will commence billing.

Customers wishing to terminate their Naked ADSL2+ service with Internode prior to the end of the first tweve months from activation date are liable to pay an early cancellation charge of $65.

Billing & Notifications

Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward these emails to a preferred email account if required, via our online Email Management system.

Please note that the first monthly service charge, plus activation fee and hardware charges, must be paid in full before Internode can activate the service.

Posting of paper invoices is available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice. Surcharges also apply to payments made by credit card - full details on this and our other payment options are available here.

The maximum possible speed of a Naked ADSL2+ service will depend on a number of factors. These include the length and quality of the copper pair that links your premises to your local telephone exchange, and the type of ADSL modem or router that you are using.

A description of these factors is available on this page, as well as a graph that provides an indication of theoretical maximum speed at various line lengths. When reviewing this graph please note the maximum speed possible on Naked ADSL2+ is 20 Mbps - the 24 Mbps maximum speed is only available on Extreme® ADSL2+.

The ADSL modem or router that you use on a Naked ADSL2+ service will affect the maximum possible speed as follows:

• ADSL2+ Modem/Router - 20000/820 kbps
• ADSL2 Modem/Router - 12000/820 kbps
• ADSL1 Modem/Router - 8000/820 kbps (many older ADSL modems and routers are ADSL1 only)

Internode does not guarantee that customers who select the Home Naked ADSL2+ plans will be able to obtain the maximum theoretical speed of 20000/820 kbps.
