- Huge Coverage - NodeMobile leverages the Optus mobile network to deliver services across Australia. Some coverage limitations apply - refer to our NodeMobile Coverage page for details.
- Your Choice of Plans - Choose from our range of monthly options - from $10 per month through to $60 per month - depending on your monthly mobile usage. You can change between these plans as required (note that a $10 plan change charge applies, and plan changes occur at the end of a calendar month).
- Generous Monthly Inclusions - Each plan includes a specific included amount of Standard Calls & Text value per month, along with a specific monthly 3G data amount - plus a 150 GB social media allowance. The Value, Premium and Sixty plans also feature an additional monthly inclusion for calls to other NodeMobile services.
- Keep Your Current Number - You can port your current Australian mobile phone number to NodeMobile, or alternatively get a brand new mobile number.
- Keep Your Current Handset or Purchase a New Handset - NodeMobile is a 'SIM-only' service - simply pop a NodeMobile SIM, MicroSIM or NanoSIM into your existing mobile phone handset. Alternatively, mix and match any of our NodeMobile plans with any of our Samsung mobile handsets.
- Advanced VoiceMail - Your own personal VoiceMail service is included, with no monthly rental or VoiceMail deposit charges. VoiceMail retrieval is charged at the standard national call rate and is eligible as part of your Standard Calls & Text value inclusion.
- Caller ID Included - Enjoy Calling Line Identification (‘caller ID’) at no additional charge.
Spend Management
The ability to control how much you spend on your mobile phone service is a key feature of NodeMobile.
- By default, each service has an overall limit of $500 in excess charges per month (beyond this point, the service is automatically suspended). You can request that this overall excess limit is reduced to a lower amount, if desired, by calling us on 1300 304 718.
- Furthermore, each of the monthly value inclusions has utilisation alerts, and each usage type has an individual monthly spend limit. The NodeMobile online toolbox allows you to adjust these individual limits to suit your own spend management requirements.

Spend Management of Included Value
- Monthly Included Standard Calls & Text - You'll receive an alert when you've used 85% of your monthly inclusion, and another when you have used all of your monthly inclusion. You can then continue to make calls and send messages at the standard rates, up to $200 per month. At that point all of your outgoing calls (excluding emergency services) will be barred, in order to avoid 'bill shock'!
- Monthly Included NodeMobile Calls - You're also alerted at 85% and 100% of this monthly inclusion, and can then continue to make calls to other NodeMobile services at the standard rates. However, once you've accrued $200 of excess NodeMobile calls per month, all of your outgoing calls (excluding emergency services) will be barred.
- Monthly Included Data - Alerts will be sent at 50%, 85% and 100% of the data monthly inclusion, and up to $200 in excess charges are allowed to accrue before the data component of your mobile service is disabled.
Alerts are sent via email and SMS text messages. Any barring or disabling remains in place until your next monthly rollover date, which is the first day of the following month.
Spend Management of Other Transaction Types
International Calls are initially barred, which is a deliberate part of our spend management and security process.
- If you wish to make international calls, you will need to contact us on 1300 304 718 and set your own maximum spend limit (up to $200) for these types of calls.
- Usage alerts will be sent via SMS and email at 85% & 100%, with the specific transaction type barred at 100% of your spend limit.
International Roaming is disabled by default on a NodeMobile service. If you would like to enable this facility, please call us on 1300 304 718 well before you intend to travel.
- Internode offers both Temporary (90 days) and Permanent enablement of this facility.

Premium SMS & Content is also disabled by default on NodeMobile services.
- If you wish to use these types of services, please contact us on 1300 304 718. A maximum spend limit of $25 per month applies to Premium SMS & Content on NodeMobile.
Important Caveat Regarding Spend Management
Billing information is not received instantly by Internode, and in some cases can be delayed by several days after the usage charge has been incurred (and significantly longer in the case of International Roaming).
Unavoidably, spend limits can hence be out of date by the time they are applied. Please be aware that you are still responsible for all charges incurred due to usage beyond the spend limit.
