Setup Options

Choose month-by-month, or benefit from a discounted setup charge with a 24 month contract term:

Plan Changes

Your broadband requirements may change over time, so you're not locked in to a particular monthly quota.

• There are no once-off charges to move from one NBN Wireless plan to another NBN Wireless plan. And you can request plan changes at any time via our online planchanger, regardless of whether you are within a contract term or not.
• Please note that any changes requested will take effect at the start of your next billing period - remember you can use Data Blocks if you need an instant quota upgrade.
• This guide provides information to help estimate your monthly Internet usage requirements.

Total Minimum Price

The total minimum price depends on the setup option and plan that you select; as shown in the following two tables. If you need to purchase equipment or arrange premises cabling, then your total costs may be higher.

1. Total Minimum Price - Monthly Contract

The following table shows the total minimum price on a monthly contract for each plan - i.e. the standard setup charge of $99 plus one month of broadband plan rental:

2. Total Minimum Price - 24 Month Contract

The standard setup charge is waived on the 24 month contract option.

• If you cancel your service before the end of the initial 24 month term, an early cancellation charge will apply.
• The early cancellation charge is pro-rated from $120 in the first month of your contract, to $5 in the final month of your contract.

Equipment Requirements

You will require an Ethernet router or 'home gateway' to connect to the National Broadband Network. If you don't already have a suitable device, check out our extensive range of broadband routers and VoIP phone equipment.

Internode NBN Wireless customers have a choice of three special offers:

• $50 off the purchase price of an entry level NetComm NF2 Ethernet router, complete with WiFi (regular price $125); or
• $75 off the purchase price of a Billion 6404VGP-R3 Ethernet router, complete with WiFi and voice-over-IP (regular price $199); or
• $100 off the purchase price of an all-in-one FRITZ!Box home gateway, which also features WiFi, voice-over-IP, DECT cordless phone base station and other advanced features (regular price from $249).

Customer Premises Cabling

We will deliver your service to the Network Boundary Point at your premises, which is defined as the physical port or 'UNI' on the NBN Network Termination Device.

Cabling from the Network Boundary Point to the location where you intend to use the service (if required) is your responsibility and you may incur charges for any installation, repair or any other work required in relation to any such cabling.

Your Agreement with Internode

When you apply for Internode NBN Wireless Broadband, you should be aware that you are entering an agreement with Internode.

When you sign up for a service you agree to the Internode Standard Form of Agreement and Internode NBN Wireless Service Schedule. These are Internode's standard terms and conditions for the Internode NBN Wireless Broadband service.

In addition if you select the Business Pack option you also agree to the Business Pack Service Schedule.

The Performance of NBN Wireless Broadband Services

When connected on a service with (for example) a 12/1 Mbps interface speed, you should not expect that everything that you download from the Internet will be received by you at 12 Mbps!

Other Limitations

We have highlighted below some of the important limitations of the Internode NBN Broadband service:

• No resale of bandwidth - Internode Broadband services provide access for personal and immediate family or business use only.
• Single location only - Internode Broadband services are designed to allow one concurrent router login on one specific physical connection (you can of course have multiple users sharing this connection). Logging in at a different physical location to the location associated with the connection may fail to work, or may incur an additional cost of $1 per connected hour.
• Dynamic IP address - A dynamic IP address is supplied by default. Select a Power Pack or a Business Pack option, if a static IP address is required. IPv6 addressing is also available if supported by your equipment - further information.
• Uploads + Downloads- The monthly quota allocation on Internode NBN Broadband services is counted as the sum of both uploads and downloads. Definitions (in accordance with Australian ISP conventions):
  • 1 MB or 1 Mbyte is 1 Megabyte = 1,000,000 bytes.
  • 1 GB or 1 Gbyte is 1 Gigabyte = 1,000 Megabytes.
  • 1 TB or 1 Tbyte is 1 Terabyte = 1,000 Gigabytes.

Billing & Notifications

Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward these emails to another email address if required, via our online Email Management system.

If you have ordered hardware you will be required to pay for it by credit card before it is sent to you. As per the Internode Standard Form of Agreement, payment for all recurring charges is required monthly in advance. This means that your first invoice will have the setup fee (if applicable) and the monthly plan fees for your service for the first 2 months. Billing will begin within 7 days of the service being provisioned by our carrier, or earlier if you have registered a successful login.

No charges apply until the service is confirmed as deliverable by our carrier.

Posting of paper invoices is available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice. Surcharges also apply to payments made by credit card - full details on this and our other payment options are available here.

Specific Internode NBN Wireless Broadband Terms and Conditions

The NBN represents a new generation of broadband infrastructure, and there are some unique terms and conditions associated with these services, some of which we have highlighted below:

• You must obtain the consent of the property owner to have the NBN installation performed. If you are not the property owner, you will need to obtain the property owner's written consent (dated and signed), and be able to provide that to Internode upon request.
• NBN services are not currently available in multiple dwelling units (MDUs). Internode will be providing NBN services to locations within MDUs when this facility is available from NBNCo.
• The installation will be performed during business hours, and you will need to be home to provide access for the installation technicians. The installation includes an external antenna and an internal network termination device, which requires a standard 240V AC power outlet.
• The cabling that is required in your premises beyond the wireless network termination device is your cost and responsibility, as is the provision of a suitable 240V AC power outlet.

The NBN Wireless Trial Period

From 1 April 2012 until 1 October 2012 Internode's supplier is providing NBN Wireless Services on a Trial basis ("Trial Period"). During the Trial Period you accept that:

• the NBN Wireless Service will be supplied on a limited trial basis only. It cannot support the supply of Priority Services and is not a standard telephone service that is subject to customer service guarantees for the purposes of the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act;
• owing to the limited trial basis on which NBN Wireless Services are supplied, the supply of the NBN Wireless Service may be immediately interrupted, suspended or terminated without notice;
• NBNCo may install testing equipment at your Premises which gathers analytical data in relation to the NBN Wireless Service; and
• NBNCo may request that you participate in information gathering activities conducted by NBNCo or its nominees in relation to the NBN Wireless Service.

It is expected that the Services will continue to be provided after the Trial Period, however some terms and conditions may change. If you do not agree to such changes you will be permitted to terminate your Service without an early termination fee.
