About the Internode Mailbox Manager
Mailbox Manager allows you to create and remove additional email addresses (mailboxes).
Extra Mailboxes are ideal for family or staff members who need their own email addresses. Each Extra Mailbox you create has a unique username and password, and stores email separately from other accounts.
You will be asked to choose a username and password when you create an Extra Mailbox. The username is used to create your email address, in the form username@internode.on.net
You may change a mailbox password at any time, but the username (and derived email address) is fixed. If you need to change an email address you must create a new Extra Mailbox, then remove the unwanted original.
Internode provides a number of features for your mailboxes, including webmail, spam and virus filtering, and mail forwarding.
Important Notes:
- Your Primary Mailbox is used for Internet access and cannot be altered using Mailbox Manager. If you need to change a Primary Mailbox, please contact us.
- Your Internode account entitles you to a limited number of free Mailboxes. Additional mailboxes beyond this limit incur a charge and cannot be created through Mailbox Manager. To create additional mailboxes beyond your account limit, please contact us.
- If you own a personal domain and wish to configure domain aliases, please lodge a support request.
- If you use an email client such as Microsoft Outlook, or Mozilla Thunderbird, you will need to set up each Extra Mailbox. Internode have a number of online guides to set up email clients available here.
