About the Internode Mailbox Manager
The Internode Mailbox Manager allows you to create and remove additional email boxes for your personal use.
Each Extra Mailbox is protected by a unique username and password, and stores messages separately from your other accounts. This makes Extra Mailboxes ideal for family
members who require their own email accounts, for example.
Each mailbox you create is identified by an email address, which takes the form username@internode.on.net. When you create an Extra Mailbox using the Mailbox Manager,
you are asked to choose a username and password for that mailbox. You
may subsequently alter the mailbox password at any time, but the
username (and derived address) are fixed. To choose an alternative
email address for a mailbox, simply create a new Extra Mailbox with
your preferred username, and remove the unwanted original.
Internode provides a number of features for your mailboxes, including webmail, spam and virus filtering, and mail forwarding.
To access Webmail (check your email online) go to https://webmail.internode.on.net/cgi-bin/webmail.cgi?cmd=abc
To access E-Mail Configuration (spam/virus filtering, email forwarding) go to https://mailconfig.internode.on.net/cgi/user.cgi
Please note:
- The Internode Mailbox Manager can not alter your Primary Mailbox, as this is linked to your Internet access service. To change your primary username, please contact us.
- Your
account with Internode entitles you to a fixed number of Extra
Mailboxes at no cost. Additional boxes beyond this limit will incur a
charge, and cannot be created by this facility. To create additional
mailboxes beyond your account limit, please contact us.
- The Internode Mailbox Manager is currently available to customers with Dialup or HOME/SOHO ADSL Internet access only.
- If you own a personal domain and wish to configure your domain aliases, please lodge a support request.
