
Configuring your Linksys WAG54G router for fetchtv.
Linksys WAG54Gv2/WAG54Gv3 fetchtv Configuration
This guide is for configuring your hardware to work over an existing Internode ADSL service to access fetchtv Full. Below are instructions for configuring fetchtv to work using the Linksys 54G v2 and v3 range of modem/routers.
Step 1
- Open your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari if using a Mac)
- Remove everything from the address bar including the "http://" so the field is completely blank and type "192.168.1.1" and hit the enter key.
- Log in to the modem with the username admin and password admin.
Step 2
- Set the Please Select a Connection drop down menu to 2 and wait for the page to reload.
- Tick the Enable Now checkbox.
- Set the Encapsulation drop down menu to RFC 1483 Bridged or Bridge mode Only and wait for it to reload the page
- Set the Autodetect radio button to Disable.
- Next to Virtual Circuit, type 8 into the VPI text box and type 34 into the VCI text box.
- Next to Network Address Server Settings (DHCP), set the Local DHCP Server radio button to Disable.
- Click the Save Settings button at the bottom and wait for the next page to finish loading.

Step 3
- Once the settings have been saved click the Continue button.

Step 4
- Click the Administration link at the top-right of the page.

Step 5
- Scroll down to the IGMP-Proxy section and set the PVC Available drop down menu to PVC 2(nas1) and wait for it to reload the page.
- Set the IGMP Proxy radio button to Enable.

- You can now plug the fetchtv set top box into any of the 4 ethernet ports on your modem.
- Turn on the fetchtv set top box.
