Your Billion VoIP router can be used with NodePhone in two ways :
The 'lifeline' configuration is recommended for general use, as many customers require a traditional telephone service to receive their ADSL broadband Internet connection. By connecting the traditional telephone service to your Billion and using the 'lifeline' configuration, you receive the following benefits :
In certain cases - such as Internode's regional wireless broadband networks, and Naked ADSL2+ services - you may not have a traditional telephone service available to use as a 'lifeline'. Of course if you do, feel free to use the 'lifeline' configuration.
But if you don't, then a different configuration is required. This will send all outgoing calls - including 000 and 1300 - out through the NodePhone service. You should consider alternative methods for calling the 000 emergency services - such as access to a mobile phone - in case the NodePhone service, or your broadband connection, or your mains power is unavailable.
Click here, select your Billion router model, then select 'configs', then right click on the required configuration file.
