FTP, or File Transfer Protocol, is a way of transferring files between computers on the Internet.
You can use an FTP client to transfer a home page which you've created on your personal computer using an HTML editor to your "www" folder on our web server. To do so, you will need an FTP client, program capable of uploading and downloading files to/from an FTP file server.
When you requested the setting up of your web space (whether you are renting webserver space or using your free space that comes with you dialup account) you will have received an e-mail of information necessary for configuring an FTP client to transfer your web pages (upload) to our webserver. Please have this information handy when you are configuring your software:
Please contact our support team if you have any questions or difficulties.

Most clients have an auto-detect setting, but specifying "UNIX" should work in most cases. |
