Easy Broadband is Internode's most popular range of broadband plans. Key features of the current generation of Easy Broadband plans include:
- A broadband connection deployed on our own infrastructure, with line profiles available to help balance speed and stability.
- Annex M line profiles may be available in selected areas and on suitable lines.
An optional monthly bundling discount is available with the current Easy Broadband plans, if the telephone service associated with the ADSL is an Internode NodeLine service.
If you go over your monthly quota on Easy Broadband, your connection is slowed to 256 kbps for the rest of your month.
You can check how much quota you've used by logging into My Internode from the Internode homepage. Simply login with your Internode username and password. Once you've logged in, select "ADSL Usage & Stats" from the "My Services" column.
There are no excess usage fees. If desired, you can purchase a Data Block to top up your monthly quota on demand.
Select a Power Pack if you prefer faster excess shaping of 512 kbps download (with the option of Data Blocks). Select the Business Pack if you prefer excess usage charges with no shaping (Data Blocks are not available with this option).
Internet enthusiasts and business customers may have different requirements for their broadband.
We've developed two Option Packs to address these needs.
Please note that you can only choose one (or neither) of these options. A service cannot have both types of Option Packs at the same time.
Simply submit a support request to request your subdomain or IP subnet.
If you have a Power Pack, you may choose a power.on.net subdomain. If you have an older SOHO ADSL plan - and you're changing plan to Easy Broadband with a Power Pack - you can retain your existing soho.on.net subdomain if you prefer (in fact, both subdomains will work).
If you have a Business Pack, you may choose an on.net subdomain and request an IP subnet. If you have an existing Business ADSL plan - and you're changing plan to Easy Broadband with a Business Pack - you will retain your existing subdomain and any associated IP subnet.
All new Easy Broadband services are deployed on our own infrastructure. To get Easy Broadband, there must be free ports in the local exchange, and sufficient backhaul capacity. You also need a direct copper path - within acceptable transmission limits - to the exchange. You can check if Easy Broadband is available with our Online Coverage Checker.
Easy Broadband services are ADSL2+ connections, with line profiles available to help balance speed and stability. In selected areas, Annex M profiles are available for potentially faster uploads.
A description of the factors that affect your actual speed is available on our Easy Broadband Performance page. This page also includes a graphs indicating theoretical maximum speed at various line lengths.
The minimum speed of an Internode Easy Broadband service is 1500/256 kbps. Internode does not guarantee that customers who select the Easy Broadband plan will be able to obtain the maximum theoretical speeds.
Yes you can! A range of Internode Easy Naked plans are also available.
Please refer to our payments page for information on how you can pay Internode.
No. If you are already connected to our infrastructure in your local telephone exchange (for example you are currently on an Internode Extreme plan, or an earlier Easy Broadband plan via our infrastructure), then it is simply an online plan change to Easy Broadband. You can change plans to Easy Broadband without any once-off charges, and without any effect on your existing contract term with Internode.
