Easy Naked is Internode's naked ADSL service, offering broadband without a traditional phone service. To make and receive calls, consider our optional NodePhone VoIP service.
To find out if you can get Easy Naked, simply enter your address into our Online Coverage Checker.
Easy Naked customers can make and receive phone calls with our optional NodePhone VoIP services.
Our NodePhone Standard plan has no extra setup or monthly rental fees, and is a great entry into the world of VoIP. Alternatively, choose from our other NodePhone VoIP plans with additional included call value.
To get started, simply add NodePhone to your cart when you sign up for Easy Naked.
The maximum speed of an Easy Naked service depends on a number of factors. These include:
A description of these factors is available on the Easy Broadband Performance page. This page also includes a graph that indicates theoretical maximum speeds at various line lengths.
Internode does not guarantee that customers who select the Easy Naked plans will be able to obtain the maximum theoretical speeds. Furthermore, there is no guaranteed minimum line synchronisation speed or data transfer rate - upload or download - on this service.
Yes, in some circumstances. If you have a Telstra-based phone number, we can transfer it into NodePhone VoIP, but only if Easy Naked can be delivered via an Internode DSLAM. You'll get an opportunity to port your number when you sign up.
Number porting is not currently available in areas where Easy Naked will be delivered via an Optus DSLAM.
To find out if you can port your number, check your address and phone number in our Online Coverage Checker.
If you go over your monthly quota on Easy Naked, your connection is slowed to 256 kbps for the rest of your month.
You can check how much quota you've used by logging into My Internode from the Internode homepage. Simply login with your Internode username and password. Once you've logged in, select "ADSL Usage & Stats" from the "My Services" column.
There are no excess usage fees. If desired, you can purchase a Data Block to top up your monthly quota on demand.
Select a Power Pack if you prefer faster excess shaping of 512 kbps download (with the option of Data Blocks). Select the Business Pack if you prefer excess usage charges with no shaping (Data Blocks are not available with this option).
Internet enthusiasts and business customers may have different requirements for their broadband. We've developed two Option Packs to address these needs.
Please note that you can only choose one (or neither) of these options. A service cannot have both types of Option Packs at the same time.
Simply submit a support request to request your subdomain or IP subnet.
If you have a Power Pack, you may choose a power.on.net subdomain. If you have an older SOHO ADSL plan - and you're changing plan to Easy Naked with a Power Pack - you can retain your existing soho.on.net subdomain if you prefer (in fact, both subdomains will work).
If you have a Business Pack, you may choose an on.net subdomain and request an IP subnet. If you have an existing Business ADSL plan - and you're changing plan to Easy Naked with a Business Pack - you will retain your existing subdomain and any associated IP subnet.
Please refer to our payments page for information on how you can pay Internode.
If you are already have an Internode Naked ADSL service (including NakedExtreme via an Internode DSLAM, or NakedUltra via an Optus Wholesale DSLAM), then it is simply an online plan change to Easy Naked.
No once-off charges apply to plan change any existing Internode Naked ADSL plan to any current Easy Naked plan.
Internode Easy Naked services delivered via an Internode DSLAM have online access to the full range of ADSL line profiles, to optimise their connection if required.
Easy Naked services delivered via an Optus Wholesale DSLAM can request to be changed to the following line profiles:
|Line Profile||Maximum Possible|
|20 Mbps||820 kbps|
|ADSL1||1.5 Mbps||256 kbps|
|Fast ADSL1||8 or 4 Mbps||384 kbps|
|Moderate ADSL2/ADSL2+||16 or 12 Mbps||820 kbps|
|High Speed ADSL2+||20 Mbps||820 kbps|
|This profile has no interleaving (this has lower error thresholds compared to the Standard ADSL2+ profile; however it can be less stable and is only recommended for customers whose loop trace length is very short)|
