Many existing Easy Naked, NakedUltra, Easy Bundle, Ultra, and UltraLine customers have told us that they're keen to move their current connection across to an Internode DSLAM.
This is the process that enables that migration!

To migrate your service, first we need to disconnect it from your current broadband infrastructure (delivered via Optus Wholesale). Then we reconnect your service to Internode infrastructure (an Internode DSLAM).
This is up to you—you're under no obligation to migrate to an Internode DSLAM. If you're happy with your current service, then please don't make any changes at all!
You are eligible for migration if you have an Easy Naked, Easy Bundle, NakedUltra, Ultra, or UltraLine service (via an Optus DSLAM), and there is an Internode DSLAM with spare capacity in your local exchange.
If you have a combined telephone and broadband service (such as Easy Bundle, Ultra, or UltraLine), be aware that migration will permanently remove your current telephone number. Naked ADSL services do not support traditional (or 'analog') phone line services.
If this is a concern then please do not proceed with the migration. As mentioned before, Easy Bundle plans are available for you via the plan change tool instead.
The migration will occur between one week and three weeks after your application. You don't need to be in attendance for the migration. It's simply a matter of re-patching your line at the local exchange (from Optus equipment to the Internode DSLAM).
During the patching process, you'll lose Internet connectivity for between one and four hours. It's possible you'll need to reboot your router after the migration, but that's about it.
There's no change to your Internode username, password, or email accounts. You shouldn't need to change anything.
There is no charge for the migration to an Internode DSLAM. You will also not be charged for early cancellation of your existing service if you're migrating to an Internode DSLAM.
NodePhone2-Special has been grandfathered, and is no longer available on the current plans. If you have
NodePhone2-Special and change to a current plan, your NodePhone plan will be changed to NodePhone Standard.
If you are still on an eligible grandfathered Easy Naked plan you can keep your NodePhone2-Special plan. Eligible plans were available from 5 July 2011 and grandfathered on 10 December 2015. Easy Naked 150 Special was not eligible for the NodePhone2-Special plan.
If you're on a current Easy Naked plan, consider NodePhone Standard, which has no monthly rental and no extra setup costs.
Please contact our Sales team if you have any other questions relating to this migration.
If you've read all the above and would like to proceed with migration, please complete our Transfer from Ultra to Easy Naked via Agile form.
