Product Features

Option Packs enable you to add extra features such as Static IP addresses to your Internode NBN, ADSL2+ or Fibre Estates broadband service.

What are Option Packs?

All residential Internode broadband services include the following features:

  • Fixed monthly charge
  • Over quota shaping if you
    exceed your monthly quota
  • Anytime quota
  • Your choice of contract
  • Standard Support
  • Extra email accounts with
    spam and virus filtering
  • A Dynamic IPv4 address
  • A /56 IPv6 prefix

Most home users find these features suitable, however internet enthusiasts or business users may have different requirements. Option Packs allow you to easily “add on” extra features to meet these requirements.

There are three types of Option Packs:

  • Static IP Pack: available to new customers on new Residential NBN Fibre services from 06/09/2019 only
  • Power Pack: for internet enthusiasts and power users
  • Business Pack: address the needs of business customers

Option Packs are available with NBN, Fibre Estates, and ADSL2+ services. See the FAQ for a full list of services.

From 06/09/2019, Power and Business Packs are no longer available for new customers signing up to new Residential NBN Fibre services. These packs have been replaced by the Static IP Pack.

Power and Business Packs remain available for existing customers migrating to NBN Fibre and existing Residential NBN Fibre services prior to 06/09/2019.

Static IP Pack

The Static IP Pack is available to new customers signing up to a new Residential NBN Fibre service from 06/09/2019.

For more information about the Static IP Pack visit our Residential NBN Plans page.

Power Pack

The Power Pack is designed for power users and internet enthusiasts. At $10 per month, a Power Pack adds the following features:

  • Faster over quota shaping if you
    exceed your monthly quota
  • Uploads not counted
    on ADSL services
  • A static IPv4 address
    for home servers or VPN
  • An included .power.on.net subdomain
    available on request

For full details of faster shaping speeds see Over Quota Shaping Speeds.

For customers on current Easy Broadband, Easy Naked and Easy Reach plans, uploads are not counted - your quota is counted in the download direction only. And there's no shaping on your uploads if your quota is exceeded.

New customers can request a Power Pack during sign up.
Existing customers can add a Power Pack any time via our online plan changer.

Business Pack

At $30 per month, a Business Pack adds the following features:

  • Faster over quota shaping
    or unshaped excess
  • Uploads not counted
    on ADSL services
  • Performance and availability targets backed by our Service Level Agreement
  • A static IPv4 address
with /29 subnet available on request
  • An included .on.net subdomain
    available on request
  • Priority Business Support

For full details of over quota shaping speeds or unshaped excess charges,
see Over Quota Shaping Speeds.

For customers on current Easy Broadband, Easy Naked and Easy Reach plans, uploads are not counted - your quota is counted in the download direction only.

New customers can request a Business Pack during sign up.
Existing customers can add a Business Pack any time via our online plan changer.
