Which services have Unmetered uploads?

Unmetered uploads are not available on NBN Fibre, NBN Wireless, or Fibre Estates services.
Do I have to be a business customer to obtain a Business Pack?
Power and Business Packs are available regardless of whether you are a residential, business, or other type of customer - simply choose what you need!
However, we encourage business customers to select the Business Pack option for the priority support and other business-related features.
How do I request an Option Pack?
New Customers can add an Option Pack as part of signing up for a new broadband service.
Existing Customers can request an Option Pack through the Online Plan Changer.
What are the Option Pack charges?
Option Pack pricing is additional to the monthly charges for your broadband plan. Refer to the specific broadband plan pages for pricing.
There are no once-off charges to add, remove, or change your Option Pack.
When does my Option Pack take effect?
Just like a plan change, the Option Pack takes effect from your next plan roll-over date.
How do I request my subdomain?
If you have a Power or Business Pack, submit a support request to request your power.on.net or on.net subdomain. All subdomains are subject to approval by Internode and are non-transferable.
- Existing Internode SOHO ADSL customers changing to a current plan with a Power Pack may retain their '.soho.on.net' subdomain if preferred.
- Existing Internode Business ADSL customers changing to a current plan with a Business Pack will retain their current '.on.net' subdomain
How do I request my /29 IPv4 subnet?
If you have a Business Pack, submit a support request to request your /29 IPv4 subnet.
Existing Internode Business ADSL customers changing to a current plan with a Business Pack will retain their current IP subnet (if any).
What happens with my IPv6 address?
There is no change to your IPv6 address with a Power Pack or Business Pack - if IPv6 is enabled, you will continue to receive a /56 IPv6 prefix via DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation. See our IPv6 page for more information.
Can I have a Reverse DNS/PTR for my Static IP?
Yes, if you have a Power Pack or a Business Pack, simply submit a support request with the details of your desired Reverse DNS/PTR and we'll set it up at no extra charge.=
Can I obtain a dynamic IPv4 address with a Power Pack or Business Pack?
On supported services, you can obtain a dynamic IPv4 address at any time by altering your login details in your modem/router.
Change the login username from:
username@internode.on.netTo:
username@dynamic.internode.on.net
(Add "dynamic." after the @ symbol)
For more information about configuring your modem/router see our Support Guides.
Note: This feature is not supported on NBN HFC or NBN FTTC services, or any NBN plan with a Static IP Pack.
What happens to my existing IP address?
We have separate IP address 'pools' for dynamic IP addresses, Power Pack static IP addresses, Static IP Pack IP addresses, and Business Pack static IP addresses.
If you are an existing Internode broadband customer and have changed your plan to include an Option Pack, then:
- If you currently have a dynamic IP service
such as a current plan without an Option Pack, you'll receive your new static IP on your roll-over date. - If you currently have a SOHO ADSL static IP service
and are changing to a current plan with a Power Pack, your static IP will not change. - If you currently have a Business ADSL static IP service
and are changing to a current plan with a Business Pack, your static IP (and any associated subnets) will not change.
Please note that your static IP address assignment may change in the following circumstances:
- If you change from a Power Pack to a Business Pack, or vice-versa.
- If you currently have a SOHO ADSL static IP service
and are changing to a current plan with a Business Pack, your static IP will change on your roll-over date. - If you currently have a Business ADSL static IP service
and are changing to a current plan with a Power Pack, your static IP will change on your roll-over date. Any associated subnets will be removed during this change. - If you relocate interstate, you will be issued with a new static IP address for your new service.
- If you have any non-NBN service with a static IP, or an NBN service with a Power Pack or Business Pack
and are changing to a Residential NBN plan with a Static IP Pack, your static IP addresses will change.
What happens to the network firewall?
The Internode network firewall is turned on by default for all dynamic IP services.
It is turned off by default for all static IP services.
- You may turn the firewall off or on to suit your requirements: learn more about the Internode Network Firewall.
