Service options and charges
Charged when a new Internode Business ADSL Standard service is established, on a telephone line that currently does not have an ADSL service.
The Fast Transfer charge applies if you can take advantage of the Telstra Wholesale Fast Transfer process, to churn from an existing ADSL service with another provider, to an Internode Business ADSL Standard service.
If you change location - even if you retain the same phone number -
this charge applies to relocate to an Internode ADSL Standard, ADSL Plus or Extreme® ADSL2+ service at your new premises.
This is charged if you cancel your Internode ADSL service prior to 12 months of use.
Note it is waived on an existing service if you are relocating with Internode ADSL at your new premises; or if you are changing service type to Internode Naked ADSL2+.
Charged if you wish to change your Internode Business ADSL Standard or ADSL Plus speed - for example from 512/128 kbps to 1500/256 kbps; or changing between Business ADSL Standard and Business ADSL Plus. Please note that any changes requested will take effect at start of next billing period.
This charge is waived for all Business ADSL Standard speed upgrades - and upgrades from Business ADSL Standard to Business ADSL Plus - until 30/06/2008!
There is no charge for changing your monthly download quota within the same speed - for example from a 25 Gbyte plan to a 50 Gbyte plan.
Also please note that any changes requested will take effect at start of next billing period.
On all Internode Business ADSL plans except Unlimited, an excess usage charge of $5 per Gbyte (calculated as 0.5 cents per Mbyte) applies to downloads beyond the monthly inclusion. The total monthly charge (base rental plus excess) is capped on the fixed speed Business ADSL Standard plans.
- No charge applies to uploads on any Business ADSL plan.

We strongly advise that you contact our Sales department to discuss
any pending changes to your phone service prior to making those
changes.
If you plan to move premises - even if you are taking the same
number with you - you'll need to use our online relocation process.
This ensures a smooth transition and reduced establishment charge of
$99.
Billing
Internode recommend a monthly billing arrangement, as any requested
changes to your account (eg speed or data change) is actioned by our
system at the start of the next billing period. Therefore paying on a
monthly basis - Credit Card or Direct Debit - means you are able to
make changes to your service on a monthly basis, whereas if you are
being invoiced quarterly, any changes will occur at the start of the
next quarter.
- Credit Card surcharge : Payments via Visa, Mastercard or Bankcard
incur a $0.99 surcharge per transaction; and payments via American
Express or Diners Club incur a surcharge of 2.5% of the transaction
value.
- There are no surcharges for Direct Debit payments (these can be monthly or quarterly).
- Similarly, there are no surcharges for any of the quarterly
payments options - BPay, Direct Credit, Cheque, Money Order, Cash or
EFTPOS.
- Please note that the first monthly or quarterly service charge,
plus activation fee and any hardware charges, must be paid in full
before Internode allow access to your service.
Full details on our payment options are available here.

Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning
messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the
configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for
details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward
these emails to a preferred email account if required via our online
Email Management system.
Posting of paper invoices is
available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested
will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice.
