Features

No Shaping - Business ADSL services are never shaped, regardless of your download volumes:
- there is no download quota at all on the three ‘Unlimited' plans - these are always fixed price, regardless of your usage.
- on the other Business plans, if your monthly download quota is exceeded then the excess downloads are charged at only $5 per Gbyte (calculated at 0.5 cents per Mbyte).
- your total monthly charge (base rental plus excess charges) is limited to a Monthly Price Cap.
Your Choice of Contract - Choose from discounted setup on a 24 month contract with an early cancellation charge; or pay the full setup fee and have no early cancellation charges – it’s your choice. Full details on the 24 month contract option are available here.
Priority Business Support - Business ADSL features Priority Business Support and a Service Level Agreement with defined performance and availability targets.
Expert Help Desk - Internode provides free, expert and friendly Help Desk support available to you 7 days a week.
Static IP Address - These are 'Layer 2' static IP services, suitable for hosting servers and operating Internet Virtual Private Networks. An additional 6 static IP addresses can be provided for $20 per month.
Five Free Email Accounts - Up to 5 free email accounts can be established, all with email spam and virus filtering at no additional charge.
Unmetered Content - Unmetered content doesn't use up your monthly download quota. This includes our Online Streaming Radio servers; our extensive Online Games network for low ping gaming; our mirror servers for file downloads; and other selected content sources including ABC iView and TiVo online.
Premium Usenet - Internode broadband customers can access our Premium Usenet service at no additional charge, note these downloads are counted toward your monthly quota.
Free .on.net Subdomain Name - Free .on.net subdomain name to link to your own server. Choose your own subdomain name - eg 'mycompany.on.net' - subject to approval by Internode.
Included Dialup Account - Includes a dialup account, for when you're away from your broadband connection, with 10 included hours per month then $1/hour pay-as-you-go. Dialup access is available Australia-wide at local call rates. Optionally, for an extra $10 per month you can have 300 included hours of dialup per month.
Global Roaming Facility - We offer a global roaming facility for dialup, WiFi and hotel Ethernet access across the world via iPass (separate usage charges apply).
No Upload Surcharge - All upload direction data is free of charge, and doesn't count against your monthly quota.
No Peak / Off Peak Limitations - Internode has no Peak or Off-Peak timezones - use the service how and when you want to.
No Regional Surcharge - We're into equality, so the same prices apply for any area we cover, metro or regional.
Your Choice of Hardware - Bring your own ADSL router, or buy one pre-configured from us at a competitive rate - click here for details. All routers supplied by Internode are pre-configured with your Internode username, password and settings; and include a quality ADSL filter/splitter and 24 months fast replacement warranty.

Service options and charges

Internode ADSL Standard Setup - 24 month contract

From $0.00

This option offers you a $0 churn fee with a 24 month contract term. It applies if you have a suitable existing ADSL service with another ISP that can be churned (via Telstra Fast Transfer) to Internode ADSL Standard.

Alternatively, a discounted $79 establishment fee with a 24 month contract term is available. This applies if you wish to establish a new ADSL Standard on a suitable active telephone service.

If you cancel your service during the initial 24 month period, you are liable for an early cancellation charge. This charge is $120 in the first 12 months, reducing to $65 during the second 12 months. Full details on the 24 month contract are available here.

Internode ADSL Standard Setup - 1 month contract

From $39.00

The alternative is to pay a setup fee and have no long term commitment. The setup fee depends on the method you use to establish your Internode ADSL Standard service:

$39 to churn (Telstra Fast Transfer) a suitable ADSL service from another ISP to Internode ADSL Standard; or
$129 establish a new ADSL Standard service on a suitable active telephone line.

There's no early cancellation charge with this option - your only commitment is the 'one month rolling contract' that is inherent in paying one month's rental in advance on your service.

Relocate an Internode ADSL Service

From $0.00

If you move to a new house or office location, you have a choice of contractual arrangements:

you can choose to have this done at no charge, in which case you enter a new 24 month contract term on the service at your new premises; or
you can pay $99 for the relocation, and your existing contract term (if any) is carried across to the service at your new premises - ie it is not restarted.

Providing the relocation is successful, no early cancellation charge will apply to your previous service. You can even change Internode ADSL service type when you move - for example change from ADSL Standard at your old place, to NakedExtreme ADSL2+ at your new place - for no extra charge.

Internode ADSL Standard Speed Changes

$20.00

This applies if you wish to change the speed of your Internode ADSL Standard service - for example from 512/128 kbps to 1500/256 kbps - or change between ADSL Standard, ADSL Plus and ADSL TwoPlus. Please note that any changes requested will take effect at start of next billing period.

This charge is currently waived for all ADSL Standard speed upgrades - including upgrades from ADSL Standard to Plus or TwoPlus; and upgrades from ADSL Plus to TwoPlus!

Change Your Plan

$0.00

There is no charge for changing your monthly download quota within the same speed - for example from a 25 Gbyte plan to a 50 Gbyte plan.

Also please note that any changes requested will take effect at the start of next billing period.
There is also no charge to change your plan type - for example, from Business ADSL to SOHO ADSL - within the same speed, and once again this will take effect at the start of your next billing period.

These changes can be requested at any time via our online planchanger, and are available regardless of whether you are within a contract term or not.

Excess Download Rate

Per Gbyte Excess : $5.00

On all Internode Business ADSL plans except Unlimited, an excess usage charge of $5 per Gbyte (calculated as 0.5 cents per Mbyte) applies to downloads beyond the monthly inclusion. The total monthly charge (base rental plus excess) is capped on the fixed speed Business ADSL Standard plans.

No charge applies to uploads on any Business ADSL plan.
No excess usage charges apply to the Business-Unlimited plans.

Additional Static IP Addresses

Per Month : $20.00

A monthly charge of $20 applies for an additional 6 IP addresses (via a /29 framed route) on an Internode Business ADSL service.

We recommend using a Cisco 877 series ADSL router at your site to implement this feature.

GST

All quoted pricing includes GST.

Limitations

Data downloads in excess of the monthly Download Inclusion are charged at $5 per Gbyte (calculated at 0.5 cents per Mbyte) on all Business ADSL plans except Unlimited. A monthly maximum price cap applies to the other Business ADSL Standard plans.
IP address assignments are from Internode address ranges and are retained by Internode on termination of service.
Static IP allocations may be modified by Internode to address technical requirements at 14 days notice.
All Business ADSL plans except Unlimited support one single standard login (with associated static IP) and up to 4 additional logins (with dynamic IP addresses).
- Additional logins are not supported on Business ADSL Unlimited plans.

Conditions may change - If service conditions are changed in the future, customers will be permitted to cease using the service without penalty if the new conditions are not accepted.
Definitions (in accordance with Australian ISP conventions):
- 1 MB or 1 Mbyte is 1 Megabyte = 1,000,000 bytes.
- 1 GB or 1 Gbyte is 1 Gigabyte - 1 Gigabyte is equal to 1,000 Megabytes.

ADSL Account Application Notes

When you apply for Business ADSL Standard, you should be aware of certain obligations and conditions once the order form is received by Internode.

Please be aware that when you sign the application form you are signing to say that you accept and agree to be bound by the Internode Standard Form of Agreement, ADSL Service Specifications and Business ADSL Service Schedule - these documents are available here. Please call us if you would like any help interpreting these documents.

The Internode ADSL Contract

When you signup for Internode ADSL, you can either:

have a reduced setup fee, with an early cancellation charge ($120 in the first year, $65 in the second year) if you cancel within the first 24 months; or
pay the full setup fee, and have a rolling one month contract with no early cancellation charges.

Automatic ADSL Service Cancellations

Please be aware that your Internode ADSL Standard service will be automatically cancelled by Telstra and a new ADSL service will need to be ordered by you (including a new $129 Activation fee) in the following circumstances:

If your telephone account is cancelled.
If you order an ADSL-incompatible product on the telephone line the ADSL is delivered on.

We strongly advise that you contact our Sales department to discuss any pending changes to your phone service prior to making those changes.

ADSL Relocations

If you plan to move premises - even if you are taking the same number with you - you'll need to use our online relocation process. This ensures a smooth transition, and gives you the choice of:

no ADSL relocation fee, and a new 24 month contract; or
a $99 relocation fee, with any existing contract term carried across to your new premises.

Billing & Notifications

Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward these emails to a preferred email account if required, via our online Email Management system.

As per the Internode Standard Form of Agreement, payment is required in advance. You will be required to pay the setup fee and any equipment costs (if applicable) and the first monthly fee upon provisioning of your service. Billing will begun within 7 days of the service being provisioned by our carrier, or earlier if you have registered a sucessful login.

Broadband services are non-refundable, however no charges apply until the service is confirmed as deliverable by our carrier.

Posting of paper invoices is available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice. Surcharges also apply to payments made by credit card - full details on this and our other payment options are available here.
