Fetchtv is an innovative new service, using Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and the fetchtv Set Top Box (STB) to deliver subscription television channels and on-demand video to your home.
The fetchtv STB has excellent technical features:
The unique fetchtv STB allows you to record two channels while you watch another one - you'll never miss your favourite shows again.
In addition to the fetchtv Full service, we also offer fetchtv Lite: with cut down features at a lower monthly price.
The full version of the service includes 30 movies per month included as part of your basic subscription, with seven fresh titles added every week.
All fetchtv services provide access to a growing variety of great Pay-Per-View, On-Demand movies, with many movies being released at the same time as they are made available in DVD stores!
Fetchtv Lite is available to Internode customers with an ADSL2+, Fibre to the Home, or Fixed-Wireless broadband service. It offers free-to-air digital channels, PVR (recording) functions, and access to all pay-per-view movie rentals.
Subscription TV channels, free movies, and on-demand TV content are not included with the fetchtv Lite service.
Fetchtv Full services are only available on:
Internode will verify that your service is capable of providing fetchtv when you order.
To ensure a high quality video experience, fetchtv Full services over ADSL2+ use a special line profile. In some cases this may result in a reduction in Internet connection speed. Further, part of your Internet capacity is dedicated to fetchtv when viewing video: typically between 1 and 3 megabits per second.
If you wish to watch something on demand, fetchtv will automatically download when you make your selection - you have access to everything from the day your service is activated.
There is a range of specialised ADSL2+ line profiles available for fetchtv Full. These line profiles can be changed using My Internode.
Yes, subject to the availability of fetchtv Full at your current location. You can change between fetchtv Full and fetchtv Lite at any time using My Internode. Note that there is a fee for changing from fetchtv Full to fetchtv Lite, and you will begin a new 24 month contract.
If you are physically relocating your service, please contact Internode to arrange this.
Fetchtv Lite is available to Internode ADSL2+, Fibre to the Home and Fixed-Wireless broadband customers. If you are not on an ADSL2+ plan, upgrade using the Internode online plan changer before applying for fetchtv Lite.
The fetchtv Full service requires either an Internode Fibre to the Home service; or an ADSL2+ service directly connected to an Internode DSLAM with a connection speed of at least 5.5 megabits per second.
If you are not sure whether your service qualifies for fetchtv Full, please check using our Coverage Checker, or apply for fetchtv with Internode, and we will check that your service qualifies. We offer fetchtv on a "No success, no fee" basis, so if your connection is not suitable you'll have the choice to pay nothing, or to take up fetchtv Lite.
All free-to-air channels are accessed using a standard TV antenna and the fetchtv set top box's 3 digital tuners. If you are not in a digital TV reception area, or you do not have a TV antenna, you will not be able to view digital free-to-air channels.
No. All streaming channels and Video on Demand content is unmetered for both fetchtv Full and fetchtv Lite. The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and firmware updates for fetchtv are also unmetered. Some application content, such as Facebook and NASA TV, are metered normally if you decide to use them.
Yes, you can bring your fetchtv service with you if you move - subject to availability at your new location. Use our Coverage Checker to check and order a new service, or contact us to update your Internet and fetchtv services for your new address.

No. Fetchtv needs a direct connection to your broadband router, using either an Ethernet cable, or an Ethernet-over-Power converter.
If you require one, Internode offers a suitable Ethernet-over-Power converter on the Internode Online Store.
Otherwise, you need to connect your fetchtv set top box to your broadband router using an Ethernet cable. If you require assistance with running a suitable cable in your home, please contact any licensed cabler for assistance.
Fetchtv features a wide range of subscription channels, including Fox Sports News, CNBC, and National Geographic, with the freedom to enhance fetchtv with additional channel packages.
A full list of fetchtv channels and add-on packages is available on our Channel Packages page.
Video on Demand content for TV shows is broken up into categories, with a general entertainment channel (Warner TV), two children's channels (Gekko TV and ABC for Kids), two documentary channels (Profiles and Chronicles), and a science-fiction channel (Frontiers).
Fetchtv also boasts two movie channels: an on-demand movie channel, with 30 free movies every month (Movie Box), and a pay-per-view channel with the latest releases (Movie Rentals).
The actual provisioning process takes less than 24 hours. Once you receive your set top box and configure your broadband router, fetchtv can be set up within minutes.
Any broadband router can be used for fetchtv Lite.
Internode has certified a number of routers for fetchtv Full:
These routers are available from the Internode Online Store, and are delivered with fetchtv configuration built in.
Internode have tested some other routers, but these are not certified for use with fetchtv Full. You may use these routers at your own risk. Configuration information is provided via our fetchtv customer forums.
If you intend to use a router that is not certified, do so only if you are comfortable with the configuration and management of your router. If you are unable to make your fetchtv Full service work with an uncertified router, we may require you to obtain a certified router to complete your fetchtv setup.
We have sample configurations for a variety of uncertified routers available in the support section of our website.
Pay-per-view movies are charged to your monthly account. Unlike your base monthly fees - which are billed in advance - pay-per-view is charged monthly in arrears. For more information on billing cycles, see our Accounts and Billing FAQ.
You can view a complete list of Movies you've watched by logging into My Internode. Titles also appear as individual transactions on your next invoice.
You have up to one week to commence viewing your movie, and 48 hours to watch the movie (as many times as you like) from the time at which you first press 'Play'.
If you need to return your fetchtv set top box for any reason, ensure that you also include the accessories. To help, here is a list of the accessories, and their associated charges if they are missing:
