Standard FTTH Cabling
- You will have been supplied with some RJ45 Ethernet Cables. Using one of these cables, connect the yellow LAN 1 port on the router to the DATA port on your FTTH Wall Outlet.
- Connect another RJ45 Ethernet Cable to one of the three remaining yellow LAN ports on the back of the router. Connect the other end of the cable to your computer's network port.
- Connect the included power supply to the back of the router and plug it into a power outlet.
- Your AVM FRITZ!Box should turn on.
Connect to the FRITZ!Box web-based interface
Step 1
- Open your preferred web browser, e.g., Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.
- Enter the following number into the address bar and then hit Enteron your keyboard:
- 192.168.178.1 (this is known as an IP Address)

Step 2
The following steps will only be relevant if your modem has not already been configured, or if it has been reset to factory default settings.
- The Language Selection screen will appear.
- Select English from the list, then click Next.

- The Regional Settings screen will appear.
- Select Australia from the drop-down menu, then click Next.

- The modem will then reboot. Wait a full two minutes before clicking To Overview.

Internet Connection Wizard
Step 1
- You will be asked to create an Administrator Password. You will need this password in future when you try to log in to your FRITZ!Box router.
Important Note:
Please make a note of your new Administrator Password, as Internode will not be able to provide it to you if it is lost or forgotten.
- Enter your chosen password into the FRITZ!Box password box and the Password confirmation box, then click Register.

Step 2
- You will be presented with a welcome screen. Click Cancel.

- Click OK on the pop-up window that appears to confirm you wish to exit the Wizard.
Step 3
- Click Internet from the menu to the left of the screen.
- Click Account Information from the dropdown menu which appears underneath Internet.

- The Account Information screen should now be visible.
- Choose Other Internet Service Provider from the Internet Service Provider list.
- Click External Modem or Router from the Connection list.

- Ensure Make own connection to the Internet is selected from the Operating mode.

- Ensure Account information required (PPPoE) is set to Yes.
- Enter your Internode username into the User name field, e.g., username@internode.on.net.
NOTE: If your username does not include @internode.on.net you will be unable to connect.
- Enter your Internode password into the Password and Password confirmation fields.

- Enter 999999 into the Upstream & Downstream DSL line speed field.
- Click Apply and press OK on the pop up window which appears.

Step 6
- Click OK once the FRITZ!Box reports that the settings have been saved.
- The FRITZ!Box will check your settings and establish an Internet connection.
Congratulations! You have successfully configured your AVM FRITZ!Box to connect to the Internet using a Fibre to the Home or National Broadband Network connection.
