The Adelaide Fringe has unveiled the perfect companion for visitors to the annual arts festival, with a detailed knowledge of what acts are on, how much they cost and where they're being held.

Meet the perfect companion for the Adelaide Fringe

03-03-2009

Adelaide Fringe 2009This great mate for the Adelaide Fringe is a mobile phone application that makes it dead easy to find the shows happening on a given day, performance times and your way to the venue. That's no mean feat given that this year's Adelaide Fringe has more than 500 events, making it the largest Fringe Festival in the southern hemisphere. The Fringe runs until Sunday, March 22.

The Adelaide Fringe mobile application works with both the Apple iPhone and Windows Mobile phones.

As a key partner, Internode provides Internet access and services for the Adelaide Fringe. It is also offering unmetered downloads of the Fringe application from any Internode wireless hotspot. Internode hotspots are located throughout the Adelaide CBD as well as suburban locations and at Adelaide Airport. You can find your nearest Internode hotspot at https://hotspot.internode.on.net/coverage/.

The Adelaide Fringe application allows users of supported phones to find artists and shows, check performance times, dates and prices and call to book tickets with the click of a button. If your phone has a built-in GPS application, the Fringe app can even draw a route between your current location and the venue you're looking for.
