Based on a survey of more than 6000 Australian Internet customers during the six months to November 2010, Roy Morgan reports that Internode continues to lead with 95 per cent of its customers “Very” or “Fairly” satisfied. Roy Morgan also noted that Internode improved its performance by two per cent compared to the survey covering the six months to May 2010.
Roy Morgan found that the overall customer satisfaction rate with Internet service providers by Australians aged 14+ increased to 73 per cent in the six months to November 2010, from 72 per cent for the six months to May 2010. Internode’s largest competitor Telstra recorded a customer satisfaction level of 69 per cent.
Internode is Australia’s largest privately owned broadband service provider, with 450 employees and about 200,000 customers nationally using its internationally-linked IPv6-enabled network. During the past 18 months, the company has repeatedly topped customer satisfaction surveys conducted by independent organisations including Roy Morgan Research, Canstar Blue and Choice.
