Internode launches fab fibre plans on Telstra turf
Internode Product Manager, Jim Kellett, said the new Reach Fibre Access Broadband (FAB) plans are great value and stack up well against those available under the previous arrangement.
"Previously residents could only buy their Fibre to the Home (FTTH) service through Telstra. Now they have more choice when it comes to choosing their broadband provider," he said.
The launch follows an agreement between Internode and Telstra Wholesale to offer services across housing estates connected via Telstra ‘Velocity’ fibre.
The plans are also available at Point Cook in Victoria, where Internode has existing fibre-served customers as a result of a fibre-optic broadband trial it undertook with Telstra.
The new Reach FAB plans are available on a monthly contract, with a setup fee. Customers signing a 24-month contract pay no setup fee, but will incur a pro-rated early cancellation charge if they cancel their service within the contract period.
Customers can also choose to add one of Internode’s optional Power Packs or a Business Pack to tailor their Reach FAB service to their specific needs.
