Internode today launches NodeMobile Data, a 3G wireless broadband service that allows customers to access the Internode network from more places in Australia.

Internode's just-released iPhone application, which makes it easy for customers to interact with the company, has already become one of the most popular free programs in Apple's App Store.

Broadband customers will be the winners if the Federal Government delivers an eight-year project to build its own fibre-optic network covering Australia, says Internode managing director Simon Hackett.

Internode is seeking to employ more than 50 people in its customer service, help desk and finance sections as the company continues to record strong growth.
