- The South Australian Government re-signs its contract with Internode, marking 11 years of continual Internet service provision to the SA Government Internet Gateway.
- Internode accelerates its ADSL2+ rollout in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Canberra; from 67 exchanges to 113.
- Internode launches Australia's first Annex M ADSL2+, providing faster upload speeds than traditional ADSL services.
- Internode's 250th employee comes on board.

- Internode extends its private backbone with massive direct links to the US via Japan on the Australia-Japan Cable (AJC), in addition to its existing and ongoing use of the Southern Cross Cable Network.
- The Internode Wireless Hotspot network passes 100 access points, including the Citylan network across the Adelaide CBD, and airports in Adelaide, Darwin and Newcastle.
- Internode's third Internet Data Centre is commissioned, providing up to 1,000 square meters of carrier-grade data centre capacity.
- New corporate head offices at 150 Grenfell St are fitted out, as the employee count passes 300.

- Major International network expansion completed. Internode's Global network now extends to Singapore and Hong Kong, with dedicated peering links to Amsterdam and London.
- First Internode Fibre to the Home services available at selected new housing developments across the country.
- 3G wireless broadband and home phone services now part of Internode's suite of products.
- The new Basslink fibre optic cable from the mainland to Tasmania is commissioned, with Internode as the first customer.
- Liz Cornelissen, Internode's Customer Service Manager is appointed as Chief Operating Officer.
- Internode is now the largest independently-owned broadband services company in Australia. The company has quadrupled in size during the past four years: It now has more than 430 employees and over 150,000 broadband customers nationally.

- Internode connects the first mainland National Broadband Network (NBN) customers in Armidale, NSW.
- Following a 20-month technical trial, native dual-stack IPv6 becomes available as a free option for all existing and new Internode ADSL and NBN customers.
- Internode debuts Fetch TV IPTV over the National Broadband Network (NBN).
- Internode extends its National Network, establishing a Point of Presence in Darwin and completing Internode's national footprint.
- Internode's 200th ADSL2+ DSLAM is installed at Nuriootpa in the Barossa Valley, SA.
- John Lindsay is appointed Internode Chief Technology Officer.
- In a deal worth $105m, publicly listed national telecommunications provider iiNet (ASX:IIN) announces its intention to acquire 100% of Internode Pty Ltd and Agile Pty Ltd. Internode Founder and Managing Director, Simon Hackett will also be granted a 7.5 per cent equity stake in the iiNet group, making him a Significant Shareholder in the listed company.

- As a benefit of joining forces with iiNet, 240 additional ADSL2+ exchanges are added, bringing Internode's total exchange DSLAM coverage to a massive 450 exchanges.
- iiNet's gaming network - 3FL - merges with Internode's games.on.net.
- Internode CTO John Lindsay is appointed to the position of iiNet Chief Technology Officer.
- Internode founder Simon Hackett steps up to join the iiNet Board.
