Simon Hackett, Internode's M.D. has smashed the world distance record for an electric vehicle by driving his Tesla Roadster more than 500km in the inaugural Global Green Challenge.

Internode is taking its sponsorship of this week's Global Green Challenge seriously by putting founder and managing director Simon Hackett on the road for the 3000km odyssey.

Internode today boosts data quotas and lowers plan costs as it passes on to customers the benefits of the PIPE PPC-1 International fibre-optic link, which goes live this Thursday.
