Internode has overhauled its range of Extreme ADSL2+ broadband plans with improved data quotas and bundling benefits.

Extreme overhaul unveils $29.95 entry bundle

30-03-2010

The new plans range all the way up to a new 240 Gigabyte (GB) per month Extreme and NakedExtreme plans.

The Internode Home-Extreme-10 plan, which has a 10 GB monthly data quota, costs just $29.95 per month when bundled with a NodeLine phone service. Similar quota boosts and bundling discounts apply across the entire Extreme product range.

Higher quota plans have also been released for the popular NakedExtreme ADSL2+ plans. Internode has added an extra 20 GB per month to the data quota for its dialtone-free Easy Naked broadband service: this $70-a-month plan now has a matching 70 GB monthly data quota.

Shaping speeds have also been improved on the new Extreme and NakedExtreme plans – doubling to 128 kbps on Home plans, and a much larger 512 kbps shaping rate on SOHO plans. Shaping is applied when customers exceed their monthly data quota, but choose not to buy extra “data blocks”. Value points for ADSL Data Blocks have also been improved for all ADSL customers, with a range of options topping out at $50 for 50 GB.

Internode product manager Jim Kellett said the new plans delivered extra value to customers. “We’ve already been welcoming a lot of new customers to Extreme and Naked Extreme – with these upgrades they’ll love these plans even more,” he said. "And our existing customers can simply use the online plan changer to access the new plans - we encourage our customers to regularly review their current plans to make sure they best fit their needs.

“We’ve also extended our range of broadband + phone line bundles, due to the strong response to the $10 monthly discount for customers who choose an eligible Internode broadband plan with an Internode NodeLine phone service.”

Internode’s Extreme plans deliver cost-effective and high-performance ADSL2+ services, because they run on DSLAM equipment owned and operated by Internode itself. Internode’s NakedExtreme plans use the same equipment to provide a dial-tone free phone line, eliminating the need for monthly telephone line rental.
