Why your Internode plan is changing

You may have received a notice about moving to a new plan for your Internode service. We’re working to move all Internode customers onto current plans to provide a better experience for our customers. This simplification also helps us focus on more important aspects of delivering your service and get plans ready to move to iiNet in the future.

What does this mean for you?

If your Internode plan is affected by the change, you’ll get a notice from us explaining how your new plan compares to your current plan.

Note: If you have multiple Internode services affected by this change, you’ll get one notice per service.

  • The monthly price of your plan may increase, decrease, or stay the same (after any applicable discounts).
  • Your internet speed may increase, decrease, or stay the same.
  • Your monthly internet data may change to unlimited data.
  • If you have a phone plan, any monthly included call value may change to Pay As You Go phone calls. Your new phone plan will have new optional add-on Call packs available.
  • If you have a phone plan with add-on Call Pack(s), you may be moved to a new add-on Call Pack with a different price and included call value. Call Packs that include International calls to Top 20 international destinations will change to Call Packs that include International calls to Top 23 international destinations, adding India, Thailand, and Greece. Please see your email notice or Critical Information Summary for the full list of destinations.
  • If you have a phone plan that can only receive calls from other Node Phone numbers, you’ll be moved to a phone plan that can receive calls from any phone number and includes a Voice Mail feature.
  • The name of your plan will be updated to the name of your new plan.
  • Your username and any phone numbers will stay the same.
  • For all affected phone plans, call rates will stay the same.
  • If you have an add-on Business Pack or Power Pack, it will be moved to your new internet plan at the same price, and your static IP address will not change.

When will my plan change?

Plan changes will happen automatically when your plan renews in the month advised in your initial notice. If you get multiple notices, please note that the change for each plan may happen at different times.

In most cases, notices will be sent at least 30 days before the change. If your notice is sent less than 30 days before the plan change, then any price increase caused by the change will be delayed by another month. If you do happen to get an “Adjustment due to plan change” charge, the amount will be credited on your next invoice. You’ll continue to pay your current monthly plan fee in the interim.

Note: It’s not possible for scheduled plan changes to happen sooner – please wait until they happen automatically.

Can I change my internet plan?

We’ve chosen your new internet plan based on the price, speed and features of your old plan. If you’d prefer a different plan, you can switch to any of our current plans in My Internode.

Important: If you change your plan, your scheduled plan change will not happen and the plan we’ve selected for you may not be available later.

Can I change the add-on Call Pack on my phone plan?

When moving you to your new phone plan, we may have included an add-on Call Pack based on the included call value and/or add-on Call Pack(s) on your old phone plan.

Once you’re on your new phone plan, you can add, switch or remove an add-on Call Pack in My Internode.

What happens if I cancel my plan?

To cancel your Internode plan, please call us on 1300 889 188. You won’t be charged a cancellation fee.
