NBN Phone

Included with NBN HFC and FTTC broadband services, NBN Phone enables you to move your home phone to the NBN. In most cases you can even keep your existing landline phone number.

Please note: Information on this page applies to existing Internode customers that are migrating or relocating to NBN Fibre plans, or to existing Internode customers already on NBN Fibre plans prior to 06/09/2019.

For new customers to Internode on Residential NBN Fibre plans from 06/09/2019, please refer to the NBN Phone Service information on the NBN Fibre plans page.

NBN Phone is available in NBN HFC & FTTC areas. You can use your current phone handset, and in most cases you can keep your current phone number. Simply connect your phone handset to the phone jack on your supplied broadband router.

NBN Phone services are only available in NBN Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial (HFC) and NBN Fibre to the Curb (FTTC) service areas. If you are not within an NBN HFC or FTTC area, we recommend NodePhone VoIP.

† The Total Minimum Cost represents 1 month of NBN HFC/FTTC plan rental, the standard NBN setup fee ($99), the modem cost ($89) and delivery ($15). Data blocks are additional. Number porting fees may apply if you transfer your existing telephone number to NBN Phone. An additional once off $300 nbn New Development charge applies if your premises is identified by nbn as being within the site boundary of a new development.

Add any of our optional Call Packs to your NBN Phone service for even greater value. Call Packs are an optional addition to your NBN Phone service. Call Pack prices are in addition to your NBN HFC/FTTC monthly plan rental.

Our Acceptable Use Policy applies to all included calls.

Existing NBN Phone customers: add or remove call packs online via My Internode.

New NBN Phone customers: add call packs when you sign up to NBN HFC or FTTC.
