July 2017 Fetch TV Plan Changes
On Tuesday 11 July 2017, Internode revised our Fetch TV plans and hardware pricing.
Changes include:
- The 24 month only Fetch Bundle plan has been grandfathered, and is no longer available for new signups.
- The first Premium Channel Pack (Vibe, Variety, Knowledge, Kids) is now available at a special price of $5 per month for customers on the current Fetch plan ($5 per month).
- The setup costs for Fetch Mini and Mighty set top boxes on the monthly Fetch plan have been reduced from $99 and $349 to $59.99 and $309.99 respectively.

Changes for existing customers
If you were on the Fetch plan ($5 per month)...
- There have been no changes to this plan, it is the currently available plan.
- Your first premium channel pack (Kids, Knowledge, Vibe, Variety) is now available at the special price of $5 per month.
If you were on the Fetch Bundle plan ($10 per month)...
Customers who are on the Fetch Bundle plan will have their plan grandfathered as of 11 July 2017.
- You'll be able to remain on your current Fetch TV plan, and keep your existing packages.
- You'll still be able to add and remove channel packages via My Internode or your set top box.
- There is no change to your monthly rental, roll-over date, customer contract, or any of the terms and conditions.
Previous Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions and total minimum costs relate to the Fetch and Fetch Bundle plans prior to 11 July 2017. For current Fetch plan terms and conditions refer to the current Fetch product page.
Setting up a Fetch service
You have the options of:
- Standard Fetch plan on a Monthly Contract, with standard set top box purchase ($99 for the Fetch Mini set top box, or $349 for the Fetch Mighty set top box).
No early cancellation charges apply to the Fetch service; or - Fetch Bundle plan on a 24 month contract, with discounted set top box purchase ($59.99 Fetch Mini set top box, or $309.99 for the Fetch Mighty set top box) and your first add-on pack (Vibe, Variety, Kids, or Knowledge) included.
If you cancel your service during the initial 24 month period, you are liable for an early cancellation charge. The maximum applicable charge for Fetch is $72 within the first month. If you are signing up to broadband, you will also need to choose a new 24 month broadband contract to be eligible for the 24 month Fetch Bundle plan.
Early Cancellation Charge (24 month contract only)
If you select a 24 month contract term, and cancel your service during the initial 24 month period, you are liable for an early cancellation charge. The maximum applicable charge is $72 within the first month. This early cancellation charge reduces by $3.00 for each month (or part thereof) left in the contract.
Requirements
You will require an Internode broadband service, that is, ADSL2+, NBN, or Fibre to the Premises broadband. You will also need a compatible broadband router, and a Fetch set top box to connect a Fetch service. A digital TV aerial is also needed for free-to-air television.
Total Minimum Cost
The total minimum cost for Fetch depends if you choose the Fetch plan or the Fetch Bundle plan, and which set top box you select. It also depends on your chosen Internode broadband service, as shown in the following table. Please note that if you need to purchase equipment or arrange premises cabling, then your total costs may be higher.

Important legal information
- The cost of all Fetch services is in addition to your monthly Internode broadband access fee. Fetch is delivered over your broadband, so if you cancel your broadband service, your Fetch service will also be cancelled automatically.
- The Fetch service offers content for purchase. Please note that buying content gives you access so long as you have your current Fetch account. This access will be lost if your account is cancelled or deactivated.
- Internode does not provide any Fetch services for Internode dialup or mobile products.
