Accounts and Billing

Take advantage of the convenience of automatic payments. Learn which payment methods are available, and how to set up automatic payments.

Internode offers two automatic payment methods: Direct Debit and Credit Card.

Internode accepts credit card payments from Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards. Note that transaction fees (surcharges) apply to payments made via credit cards and debit cards. See Payment Methods to view the surcharges.

Direct Debit payments from a bank account do not attract a surcharge. Internode will automatically debit funds from your bank account when your invoice is due for payment.

Credit CardHow to set up automatic Credit Card payments

The easiest way to set up automatic Credit Card payments is online through My Internode:

  1. Log into My Internode using your Internode username (without @internode.on.net) and password.
  2. Click Change Payment Method to access your payment settings.
  3. Your current payment method will be displayed. Click Update or change my credit card details.
  4. Ensure that Automated Billing has a tick next to it (Use this card for Automated Payments from now on).
  5. Enter your Credit Card number, expiry, and card holder name.
  6. Click Submit Credit Card Details.

Please note: Payment details must use an Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI). Non-ADI payment methods such as Visa Debit gift cards cannot be used.

If you are a business customer, or if you have trouble updating details in My Internode, contact us on 1300 889 188 to set up automatic Credit Card payments.

Direct DebitHow to set up automatic Direct Debit payments

There are two ways to set up Direct Debit - either online through My Internode, or with a Direct Debit Request Form.

To set up your Direct Debit information online:

  1. Log into My Internode using your Internode username (without @internode.on.net) and password.
  2. Select Change Payment Method under My Account in the menu.
  3. Click the Setup automated payments from my bank account button and follow the prompts to enter your Direct Debit details.

Please note: Payment details must use an Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI). Non-ADI payment methods such as Visa Debit gift cards cannot be used.

The Customer Number can be found on the first page of your invoice, at the top-right corner.

Alternatively, submit a Direct Debit Request Form (PDF). Make sure you provide your customer number so we can locate your account. Your customer number is located at the top right corner of your Internode invoice.

Once you have completed the form, please return it to Internode via fax (1300 396 633) or post (Internode, PO Box 284, Rundle Mall, SA, 5000).

  3. Your current payment method will be displayed. Click Edit Payment Method.
  4. Choose Direct Debit.
  5. Enter your Direct Debit details and agree to the Direct Debit terms.
  6. Click Review my order.

Please note: Payment details must use an Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI). Non-ADI payment methods such as Visa Debit gift cards cannot be used.
