May 2016 Easy Broadband Plan Changes
On Wednesday 18 May 2016, Internode revised our Easy Broadband plans. We've simplified the range to two plans, which are available now, for both new and existing customers.
Changes include:
- The Easy Broadband plan range has been simplified to a two plans.
- The 100 GB Easy Broadband plan received a quota boost to 250 GB.
- The 250 GB Easy Broadband plan received a quota boost to 1000 GB.
All previous Easy Broadband plans have been grandfathered, and are no longer available for new sign ups. Existing customers may have their plans automatically changed to a new Easy Broadband plan, or they may need to change plan online to take advantage of the new deals. Read below for further details.
In December 2015, some customers received a special quota upgrade. This once-off upgrade was to a special instantly grandfathered plan that was not generally available. For most customers who received a plan upgrade in December - except if you received an upgrade to Easy Broadband 200 IG - there is no change to your plan. If you'd like to take advantage of these new plans available today, simply change plan online. Please note that if you change your plan, you will not be able to return to your special plan.

Customers on the previous Easy Broadband 400 plan (at $79.95 per month, or $59.95 with bundling discount) will be automatically changed to an instantly grandfathered Easy Broadband 1200 IG plan, on the day of the plan release.
- This is simply a quota change, from 400 GB to 1200 GB per month.
- If you change your plan in the future, you won't be able to return to this special plan.
- There is no change to your monthly rental, roll-over date, customer contract, or any of the terms and conditions.
- Existing Easy Broadband 400 customers do not need to take any action to receive this benefit.
If you were on Easy Broadband 1200…
Customers on the previous Easy Broadband 1200 plan (at $109.95 per month, or $89.95 with bundling discount) will have their plan grandfathered on the day of the plan release.
- There is no change to your monthly rental, quota, roll-over date, customer contract, or any of the terms and conditions.
- Existing Easy Broadband 1200 customers do not need to take any action, but if you would like to change to a current plan, simply use our Online Plan Change tool.
If you were on the special Easy Broadband 200 IG…
Customers who received a special upgrade in December 2015 to the previous Easy Broadband 200 IG plan (at $49.95 per month, or $29.95 with bundling discount) will be automatically changed to the new Easy Broadband 250 plan, on the day of the plan release.
- This is simply a quota change, from 200 GB to 250 GB per month.
- There is no change to your monthly rental roll-over date, customer contract, or any of the terms and conditions.
- Existing Easy Broadband 200 customers do not need to take any action to receive this benefit.
If you were on the special Easy Broadband 1000 IG…
Customers who received a special upgrade in December 2015 to the previous Easy Broadband 1000 IG plan (at $69.95 per month, or $49.95 with bundling discount) will remain on their current plan, however it is now available for new sales from the day of the plan release. The plan name was updated to Easy Broadband 1000.
- There is no change to your monthly rental roll-over date, customer contract, or any of the terms and conditions.
